Passage 4
例如,当别人为你提供帮助时,要说“Thank you very much.”;当你需要请求别人帮忙时,可以说“Excuse me, could you please help me?”;当你不小心做错事时,要及时说“I'm sorry.”。
等;当你给别人提供建议时,可以说“How about...?”“Why not...?”
例如,如果别人问你“What's your favorite color?”你不能回答“I like apples.”。

2. 答案:B。
- 解析:根据后面教授的回答“but please come earlier next time(但下次请早点来)”可知前面是在道歉“Sorry, I am late(对不起,我迟到了)”。“See you later(再见)”用于告别;“Nice to see you(很高兴见到你)”用于见面时打招呼;“Nice talking to you(很高兴和你交谈)”用于谈话结束时。
“Are you all right(你还好吗)”询问身体状况或情绪;“Have you bought the book(你买了这本书吗)”询问是否买了书;“Do you have a room(你有房间吗)”比较直接,不如“Can I help you”礼貌。
4. 答案:A。
- 解析:根据回答“My watch says eight.”可知是在询问时间“What time is it(几点了)”。“What’s the date today(今天几号)”询问日期;“How much is your watch(你的手表多少钱)”询问价格;“Could you help me(你能帮我吗)”请求帮助。
5. 答案:C。
