B Cycling has become more than a habit for “Granny Mave,” as Mavis Paterson is known. It has become essential for her very being, her very reason for living after all three of her adult children passed away within four years of each other — Sandy in 2012, Katie in 2013 and Bob in 2016. It was in memory of her children that the 85-year-old grandmother set out on her latest endurance challenge in May, cycling 1,000 miles around Scotland, beginning from the Mull of Galloway, before heading north, tracing the outline of the country until she reached the Mull of Galloway again. “If I didn’t have my bicycle, and this is terrible to say, I don’t think I would want to live,” she told CNN Sport. Paterson cycled every day for a month around Scotland, navigating its undulating (起伏的) landscape, exposed roads and unpredictable weather. Every day, she woke up early and set out riding — covering up to 50 miles a day — and raising money for British-based charity Macmillan Cancer Support. Cycling has provided some comfort, some way for her to cope with unimaginable loss. All along the route, Paterson recalled other cyclists coming out to keep her company, offering “terrific support,” some of them riding with her for several days at a time. Such support was a constant throughout Paterson’s odyssey (跋涉) across Scotland, ending in a crowd at the finish line who had gathered to cheer her on. “I know people have got on their bikes and thought, ‘If that old lady can do it, I can do it.’ And also people who have been a bit depressed and thought, ‘Oh gosh, I shouldn’t be like this. Look at poor Mave, she’s lost all her children.’ So a lot of people have taken up cycling because of my cycle rides and just inspired people apparently,” she said. 24.Why did Paterson start her cycling around Scotland? A.To keep exercise and improve her health. B.To take up the hobby of her three children. C.To recover from the death of her children. D.To be the oldest lady to ride around Scotland. 25.What can we say about the cycling around Scotland? A.It is highly profitable and well-received. B.It requires great effort and determination. C.It needs professional training and equipment. D.It aims to raise money for the disabled people. 26.What is paragraph 5 mainly about? A.The support Paterson asked others for. B.Some achievements Paterson achieved. C.The challenges Paterson set for herself. D.The friendship Paterson got along the way. 27.Which of the following can best describe Paterson? A.A cyclist. B.A sponsor. C.A hopeless mother. D.An inspiration. C A team of leading environmental experts have warned that the current war on plastic is detracting from the bigger threats to the environment. In an article, they say that while plastic waste is an issue, its prominence in the general public’s concern for the environment is overshadowing greater threats, for example, climate change and biodiversity loss. The team argue that much of the bad talk about plastic waste is based on data that is not always representative of the environments that have been sampled. The dislike of plastic associated with this could encourage the use of alternative materials with potentially harmful effects. The authors warn that plastic pollution dominates the public’s concern for the environment and has been exploited politically, after capturing the attention of the world, for example, through the images of wildlife caught in plastic was alarmist headlines. They say small political gestures such as law banning cosmetic microplastics, taxing plastic bags, and financial rewards for using reusable containers, as well as the promotion of products as “green” for containing less plastic than alternatives, make people neglect other environmental problems that are not as noticeable as plastic pollution. The article also highlights that plastic is not the only type of polluting materials, originating from human activity that pollutes the environment. Other examples include natural textile fibres such as cotton and wool, and brake-wear particles from vehicles — all of which are present in different places. The authors note that these materials are often much more abundant than microplastics and some are associated with “plastic alternatives” that are marketed as solutions to plastic pollution. The impacts of these materials are less well-known than plastic and microplastic pollution, yet they could have huge impacts. The article states that solutions are likely to come from a greater focus on designing materials and products that can be recycled, that have their end-of-life, and that markets and facilities exist to recycle. 28.What’s the experts’ attitude towards the current war on plastic? A.Indifferent. B.Favorable. C.Critical. D.Objective. 29.What does the underlined word“this” in paragraph 2 refer to? A.The negative view of plastic. B.The use of alternative materials. C.The potential harmful effects. D.The defense for plastic. 30.What does the author intend to do in the last paragraph? A.Explain a rule. B.Make a comparison. C.Clarify a point. D.Offer a suggestion. 31.What is the text most likely to be? A.A response to plastic pollution. B.A schedule to fight against pollution. C.An argument against climate change. D.A guide to plastic management. D In recent years, studies have suggested how the bisphenol A (BPA) in some food-packaging plastics has been linked to various health problems including heart disease and developmental difficulties in children. Scientists are thus developing a more harmless alternative, and it’s made from tomato waste which would otherwise be got rid of. However, BPA is still widely used in the plastic coatings which are applied to the inside of metal food packaging such as cans. These smooth waterproof coatings help protect the metal from corrosion (腐蚀), plus they keep the food from sticking to the inside of the container. Building on previous studies, an international team has researched a type of agricultural waste known as tomato pomace. This material typically consists of tomato skins, seeds and stems, which are left over after the fruits have been processed for use in foods such as sauces or juices. Ordinarily, the pomace is simply dumped in a landfill, burned, or at best composted. It may also be used in animal feed, although it doesn’t have much nutritional value. The scientists started by drying tomato pomace — first in the sun for three days, then in a 60℃ oven for 16 hours — after which they grounded it into a powder. That powder was subsequently mixed with a sodium hydroxide solution (溶液), which was then heated at 100℃ for four hours. After repeatedly filtering that solution to remove the sodium hydroxide, the researchers were left a lipid. That lipid was then mixed into an ethyl alcohol solution which was sprayed onto samples of some metal. Once the spray had dried and the samples had been heated in a 200℃ oven for 10 to 60 minutes, the result was a polymerized lacquer coating which proved to be very effective at protecting the metal. The scientists now plan on testing the coating on actual cans. “We would take tomato sauce, and other foods that are usually sold in cans, and we would sterilize them, put them in tins and check if they withstand real conditions,” said a scientist. 32.Which of the following is the most likely to use the plastic coating? A.A pot full of water. B.A cup filled with coffee. C.A tin containing apple juice. D.An iron box stuffed with packaged food. 33.What do we know about tomato pomace? A.It’s used as animal’s food with rich nutrition. B.It has been used in the plastic coatings. C.People use it to make sauce or juice. D.People usually treat it in many ways. 34.What is mainly talked about in paragraph 4? A.How the new coating is created. B.Why heating is important. C.Why high temperature is needed. D.What other materials are included. 35.What is the purpose of the text? A.To present a scientific study. B.To introduce a new material. C.To show a complex process. D.To teach an actual test. The secret to stress relief: Why rest isn’t a waste of time Stress is a modern epidemic, but among all the stress management strategies we are forgetting one essential remedy (疗法) — taking time for rest. For a long time, psychologists focused almost exclusively on what went on between our ears. 36 That was the field of medical doctors, physiotherapists and gym instructors. Recently, however, there has been a growing realization that the body and mind are deeply connected with each other. The most recent insights have revealed that our mental health is determined to a large extent by our physical condition. Studies have shown that our brain processes “psychological” pain — such as the kind that arises out of social exclusion — the same way it does physical pain. 37 It’s apparent that there is no clear division between body and mind in the case of stress. You suffer more from stress when you are suffering from a flu. If you have a bad night’s sleep, everything is more stressful the next day. But good news is that you can combat it by looking after your body. 38 A healthy sleeping pattern also offers protection agains all kinds of psychological disorders, and a healthy diet is known to reduce stress. When you decide to do something about your stress levels, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to turn your whole life upside down — quit your job, move to another country and so forth. 39 Moments of rest and relaxation ought to occupy a more significant place in our lives. These important moments should not be regarded as a kind of “breather” in between jobs but as a natural and fundamental part of our way of life. 40 We need to see it as crucial time that we use to build up our reserves. It is only when we fully embrace rest that we will be able to take a stand against stress and burnout. A.The body was not their responsibility. B.The first step is to take better care of your body, instead. C.In fact, you can even take an aspirin for that kind of pain. D.For example, physical exercise helps to relieve depression. E.You should ask if the health problems are caused by stress. F.They all concentrate only on anxiety, depression and as such. G.Getting enough rest is not just something we should do when we are exhausted. Templer was a tour guide in Zimbabwe, leading a canoe (皮划艇) safari down the Zambezi River. He was in his final year of high school, and his art portfolio (画集) was fast approaching its due date in a week. This canvas was meant to be his masterpiece, the crown jewel of his collection, but all his ideas seemed to escape the moment he stood before it. “What’s wrong with me? What should I do?” Marco murmured to himself. Having grown up in the bustling city of New York, Marco had always found beauty in the chaos. The harshness of roaring cars, the colorful palette of street art, the symphony of diverse tongues and the odd behaviors of the passengers-all served as inspirations for his art. Yet, now, when it mattered most, he found himself lost. Upset and distressed, Macro walked out, longing to run across something unexpected. Unaware of the duration of his wandering through the streets of the city, Marco chanced upon a small, hidden park he had never noticed before. It was a pocket of quiet amid the urban uproar, which attracted Marco immediately. An old man sat on a bench, feeding pigeons that flocked around him in a dance of fluttering wings. The old man noticed Marco’s thoughtful gaze and gestured him over. They struck up a conversation aimlessly as if they had been old friends for a long time. In their talk, everything was full of interest from life to art. At last Marco confided (倾诉) his artistic block to the old man. The old man listened intently before offering a piece of wisdom. And then, the old man stood up slowly and patted Marco’s shoulder softly. “Sometimes, the best inspiration comes from the places we least expect. Look beyond what you see.” The gentleman said in all earnestness. The next day, Marco returned to his canvas. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The time presenting his portfolio came soon. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试卷第1页,共3页 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!2 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 试卷第2页,共22页 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!2 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$null 备战2025年高考英语一轮复习模拟卷(山东专用)02 参考答案 英语·答案及评分标准 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 1—5BCBAA 6—10BACAA 11—15ABCCB 16—20 ABCCB 第二部分 阅读(共两节,满分50分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分,满分37.5分) 21.B 22.A 23.B 24.C 25.B 26.D 27.D 28.C 29.A 30.D 31.A 32.C 33.D 34.A 35.B 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 36.A 37.C 38.D 39.B 40.G 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 41.C 42.A 43.B 44.D 45.C 46.D 47.A 48.B 49.D 50.A 51.B 52.A 53.B 54.C 55.D 第二节 (共10小题;每小题1.5分,满分15分) 56.amazement 57.passionate 58.comes 59.specifically 60.which 61.representing 62.protected 63.for 64.have been lost 65.the 第四部分 写作(共两节,满分40分) 第一节(满分15分) 【参考范文】 参考范文1: Dear Brian, As for the upcoming field trip organized for our elective course, visiting the City Museum would be a fantastic choice in my opinion. This time, he closed his eyes and let his mind wander to the park, to the old man, and to the conversation they had. He thought about the peace and calm within the chaos of his city and the unseen stories of the people who lived there. With a deep breath. Marco began to paint, not what he saw, but what he felt. He painted the serenity of the park, the wisdom in the old man's eyes, and the dance of the pigeons. He painted the soul of the city, not its appearance. The time presenting his portfolio came soon. With no doubt, Marco's final piece was met with awe. It was more than just a painting; it was a narrative, a piece of his heart, a glimpse into the unseen beauty of the world around him. Just like the old man's words:“Inspiration is everywhere, in every moment, in every encounter. We just need to open our hearts to it.”Marco learned to look beyond the surface and see the unseen canvas that the world offered. Now, as a new student at the university, you will probably need some sort of guidance to help you to use the library effectively to study and research. Some of you have asked about a guided tour but we find this rather confuses people. So, in this first week, we run a series of talks which focus on different aspects of the library and its resources. OK, now let me give you an outline of what's available to you. You'll find that the computers are increasingly used as a research tool. Many students do most of their research on the Internet and the library computers are permanently online. Having found what you need, you'll find you can readily save texts on your personal computer space to print off when you need. Naturally we do still have the full range of classic reference books for you to use and there arc several copies of each one. This is because some of you may prefer to borrow a book rather than sit in the library. There is a restricted loan time on these so that they are not missing from the shelves for too long. Although there is a Section Manager for each part of the library, they are very busy and so, if you do get stuck looking for things, you should ask the relevant Cataloguing Assistant. As your Training Supervisor, I just oversee your work for a week and will not be around after this initial week. A The Best Writing Contests of 2024 Kentucky Visions Short Story Contest The Kentucky Visions Short Story Contest, an annual contest, is designed to highlight Kentucky’s rich literary talent and celebrate the best in short fiction written by Kentuckians or about our beloved Bluegrass State. 根据第一段中“Cycling has become more than a habit for “Granny Mave,” as Mavis Paterson is known. It has become essential for her very being, her very reason for living after all three of her adult children passed away within four years of each other (骑自行车已经不仅仅是被称为“Mave奶奶”的Mavis Paterson的一种习惯。在她的三个成年子女相继在四年内去世后,这已经成为她生存的必要条件和理由)”可知,Paterson开始骑自行车环游苏格兰是为了从她的孩子相继去世中恢复过来。故选C项。 25.推理判断题。根据第四段中“Paterson cycled every day for a month around Scotland, navigating its undulating (起伏的) landscape, exposed roads and unpredictable weather. (Paterson连续一个月每天骑车环绕苏格兰,穿梭于起伏的地形、裸露的道路和变幻莫测的天气之中)”可知,骑行苏格兰需要面对不太理想的自然环境,地形、道路状况、天气都不是很有利于骑行。由此可知,这需要很大的努力和决心。故选B项。 26.主旨大意题。根据第五段中“All along the route, Paterson recalled other cyclists coming out to keep her company, offering “terrific support,” some of them riding with her for several days at a time. Such support was a constant throughout Paterson’s odyssey (跋涉) across Scotland, ending in a crowd at the finish line who had gathered to cheer her on. (Paterson回忆说,一路上,其他骑自行车的人都出来陪伴她,提供“极好的支持”,其中一些人一次和她一起骑了好几天。在Paterson穿越苏格兰的跋涉中,这样的支持一直持续着,直到在终点线的人群聚集在一起为她加油)”可知,本段主要描述了Paterson骑行过程中收获的友谊,有些人陪着她一起骑行,还有人在终点处为她加油。故选D项。 27.推理判断题。根据最后一段中Paterson所说的话“I know people have got on their bikes and thought, ‘If that old lady can do it, I can do it.’ And also people who have been a bit depressed and thought, ‘Oh gosh, I shouldn’t be like this. Look at poor Mave, she’s lost all her children.’ So a lot of people have taken up cycling because of my cycle rides and just inspired people apparently C A team of leading environmental experts have warned that the current war on plastic is detracting from the bigger threats to the environment. 【答案】28.C 29.A 30.D 31.A 【导语】这是一篇说明文。 根据第一段“A team of leading environmental experts have warned that the current war on plastic is detracting from the bigger threats to the environment. In an article, they say that while plastic waste is an issue, its prominence in the general public’s concern for the environment is overshadowing greater threats, for example, climate change and biodiversity loss.(一组领先的环境专家警告说,目前对塑料的战争正在转移人们对给环境造成更大威胁的事物的注意力。在一篇文章中,他们说,虽然塑料垃圾是一个问题,但它在公众对环境的关注中的突出地位掩盖了更大的威胁,例如气候变化和生物多样性丧失)”可知,专家认为对当前塑料战争的过度关注转移了人们的注意力,使人们忽视了给环境造成更大威胁的事物,例如气候变化和生物多样性丧失。由此推知,专家们对当前塑料战争持批判的态度。故选C项。 29.词句猜测题。根据第二段“The team argue that much of the bad talk about plastic waste is based on data that is not always representative of the environments that have been sampled. The dislike of plastic associated with this could encourage the use of alternative materials with potentially harmful effects.(研究小组认为,大部分关于塑料垃圾的负面讨论都是基于数据,这些数据并不总是代表所取样的环境。与此相关的对塑料的厌恶可能会鼓励使用具有潜在有害影响的替代材料)”可知,对塑料的厌恶和人们对于塑料垃圾的负面观点密切相关,故“this”指代“much of the bad talk about plastic waste”即“对塑料的负面看法”。故选A项。 30. 根据最后一段“The article states that solutions are likely to come from a greater focus on designing materials and products that can be recycled, that have their end-of-life, and that markets and facilities exist to recycle.(文章指出,解决方案可能来自更多地关注设计可回收的材料和产品,这些材料和产品有其使用寿命,并且存在回收市场和设施)”可推知,最后一段作者提出了一种处理污染性材料的建议,即把注意力放在设计可回收的材料和产品上。故选D项。 31. 根据第一段第一句“A team of leading environmental experts have warned that the current war on plastic is detracting from the bigger threats to the environment.(一组领先的环境专家警告说,目前对塑料的战争正在转移人们对给环境造成更大威胁的事物的注意力)”及第二段最后一句“The dislike of plastic associated with this could encourage the use of alternative materials with potentially harmful effects.(与此相关的对塑料的厌恶可能会鼓励使用具有潜在有害影响的替代材料)”及第三段第一句“The authors warn that plastic pollution dominates the public’s concern for the environment and has been exploited politically(作者警告说,塑料污染主导了公众对环境的关注,并被政治利用)”及第四段最后一句“The impacts of these materials are less well-known than plastic and microplastic pollution, yet they could have huge impacts.(这些材料的影响不如塑料和微塑料污染那么为人所知,但它们可能会产生巨大的影响)”可推知,作者对于过度关注塑料污染做出了回应,认为过度关注塑料污染带来了一些潜在负面影响。故选A项。 D In recent years, studies have suggested how the bisphenol A (BPA) in some food-packaging plastics has been linked to various health problems including heart disease and developmental difficulties in children. 根据第二段“However, BPA is still widely used in the plastic coatings which are applied to the inside of metal food packaging such as cans. These smooth waterproof coatings help protect the metal from corrosion (腐蚀), plus they keep the food from sticking to the inside of the container. (然而,双酚A仍被广泛应用于如罐头等金属食品包装内部的塑料涂层。这些光滑的防水涂层有助于保护金属免受腐蚀,还可以防止食物粘在容器内部)”可知,这种塑料涂层是用在如罐头等金属食品包装内部,保护金属免受腐蚀,再结合选项可知,C项“装有苹果汁的罐头”最有可能使用这种涂层。故选C项。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段中“Ordinarily, the pomace is simply dumped in a landfill, burned, or at best composted. It may also be used in animal feed, although it doesn’t have much nutritional value. (通常情况下,番茄渣被简单地倾倒在垃圾填埋场,燃烧,或者最好用于堆肥。它也可以用于动物饲料,尽管它没有太多的营养价值)”可知,番茄渣的处理方式包括:当作垃圾被填埋、燃烧、制作堆肥、制成动物饲料。由此可知,人们通常以多种方式处理它。故选D项。 34.主旨大意题。根据第四段“The scientists started by drying tomato pomace — first in the sun for three days, then in a 60℃ oven for 16 hours — after which they grounded it into a powder. 故选A项。 35. 通读全文,尤其是第一段中“Scientists are thus developing a more harmless alternative, and it’s made from tomato waste which would otherwise be got rid of. 36.上文“For a long time, psychologists focused almost exclusively on what went on between our ears.(很长一段时间以来,心理学家几乎只关注我们耳朵之间发生的事情)”提出心理学家只关注“耳朵之间发生的事情”,即“大脑里发生的事情”,A项“The body was not their responsibility.(身体不是他们的责任)”与上文语意一致,说明心理学家只关心大脑,不关心身体。同时下文“That was the field of medical doctors, physiotherapists and gym instructors.(那是医生、理疗师和健身教练的领域)”说明心理学家认为“身体”是医生、理疗师和健身教练的领域,上下文语意连贯。故选A项。 37.上文“Studies have shown that our brain processes “psychological” pain — such as the kind that arises out of social exclusion — the same way it does physical pain.(研究表明,我们的大脑处理“心理”疼痛——比如由于社会排斥而产生的疼痛——的方式与处理身体疼痛的方式相同)”提出大脑处理“心理”疼痛的身体疼痛的方式相同,C项“In fact, you can even take an aspirin for that kind of pain.(事实上,你甚至可以吃一片阿司匹林来缓解这种疼痛)”承接上文,指出吃阿司匹林这种缓解身体疼痛的方式也可以用来缓解“心理”疼痛,与上文语意一致,前后文语意连贯。故选C项。 38.下文“A healthy sleeping pattern also offers protection agains all kinds of psychological disorders, and a healthy diet is known to reduce stress.(健康的睡眠模式也可以预防各种心理障碍,健康的饮食可以减轻压力)”中例举了几种预防各种心理障碍和缓解压力的方式,结合句中“also”可知,上下文之间是并列关系,说明上文中会提到一种方式。 同时这些举例照应前文“But good news is that you can combat it by looking after your body.(但好消息是,你可以通过照顾好自己的身体来对抗它)”,是对其中如何“照顾好自己的身体”的举例说明。故选D项。 39.上文“When you decide to do something about your stress levels, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to turn your whole life upside down — quit your job, move to another country and so forth.(当你决定对你的压力水平做些什么时,这并不意味着你必须彻底改变你的生活——辞职,搬到另一个国家等等)”否定了一些极端的做法,B项“The first step is to take better care of your body, instead.(相反,第一步是更好地照顾你的身体)”与上文构成转折关系,给出正确的建议,下文“Moments of rest and relaxation ought to occupy a more significant place in our lives.(休息和放松的时刻应该在我们的生活中占据更重要的位置)”承接B项,说明如何更好地照顾你的身体,上下文语意连贯。故选B项。 40.根据指代关系和下文“We need to see it as crucial time that we use to build up our reserves.(我们需要将其视为建立储备的时间)”中指示代词“it”可推知,设空句应出现其指代对象,G项“Getting enough rest is not just something we should do when we are exhausted.(得到足够的休息不仅仅是我们在疲惫的时候应该做的事情)”中“Getting enough rest”即其指代对象,是下文所说的“建立储备的时间”,上下文语意连贯。 Templer was a tour guide in Zimbabwe, leading a canoe (皮划艇) safari down the Zambezi River. Marco stared at the blank canvas (油画布) spreading out before him, its stark whiteness almost laughing at his sudden lack of inspiration. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】The next day, Marco returned to his canvas. He found his true voice as an artist. 3. 词汇激活 行为类 开始:begin/start 提供:offer/provide 遇到:meet/encounter 情绪类 真正的:true/real 【点睛】[高分句型1] Marco learned to look beyond the surface and see the unseen canvas that the world offered.(that引导的定语从句) [高分句型2] He thought about the peace and calm within the chaos of his city and the unseen stories of the people who lived there.(who引导的限制性定语从句) 试卷第2页,共22页 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!2 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
