Buying gifts from Presents for Purpose allows mothers to ______. A enjoy good sleep B. be well-organized C. get extra support D. give other help B My new teacher is cool. Her name is Paula so we call her Miss Paula. The first time we met her she said we are going to be good friends and that good friends are always nice to each other. Miss Paula has been teaching us a lot of things. Some of us used to get in trouble for talking in the hallway (过道). Miss Paula says she can’t change the rule that we can’t make noise in the hallway but we can still talk to each other. She is teaching us sign language. I already know how to say “hello” and “how are you” with my hands. Now we love it when we have to walk somewhere and we are always quiet except for a laugh or two. Miss Paula likes everybody even Sam and nobody likes Sam. He never does what he’s told but now he is doing better. Miss Paula says every single one of us is perfect and beautiful just the way we are. I guess that includes Sam. This week at school was really the best ever. I didn’t even get in trouble when I thought I would because I spilled (洒) milk on my homework and had to hand it in when it was still wet. Miss Paula just smiled and asked “What’s this?” So I told her what happened. Miss Paula put it near the window to make it dry. She said the sun had been waiting for such an important job as this and would be happy to help us. Well I have to go and get ready for bed now. I have school in the morning and I want to wake up early so I will have time to pick Miss Paula some flowers. 24. From the passage we know that Miss Paula ________. A. is strict with the writer B. changed the school rules C. is very kind to her students D. uses sign language in class 25. From Paragraph 4 what do we learn about Sam? A. Sam dislikes his new teacher. B. Sam has made some progress. C Sam is often praised by Miss Paula. D. Sam is one of the writer’s best friends. 26. How did the writer probably feel when he handed in his homework? A. Bored. B. Excited. C. Relaxed. D. Worried. 27. We can learn from the passage that the writer ________. A. loves and respects her new teacher B. is a bit afraid of her new teacher C. always picks her teacher some flowers D. wrote this article in the morning C On Mondays, two of my children get ready for school in an unusual way. Each packs plenty of food and water, a pair of rubber boots and sometimes a cup of hot chocolate. Then, I drop them off at a nearby park where they spend the entire day outside at a certified forest school. When I first signed them up for forest school program, I loved the idea, but as a mum, I was concerned about a few things: Would they be comfortable outside for that long? Would they stay engaged for that many hours? Then I asked them if time ever seemed to move slowly, they stared at me in confusion. They didn’t understand my question, which fittingly removed it. In this program, kids direct their own play, climbing tall trees or testing ice on the frozen lake. They are never told their play is too high or too sharp, but are rather trusted to self- adjust. Something else my sons appreciate about forest school is not being told to move on to the next activity, but being left to stay in a particular spot for as long as their curiosity allows. : “What about all the things they’re missing in real school?” concerned parents have asked me. Neither of their classroom teachers thinks it’s a problem, but most significantly, my kids are learning new and different skills that a classroom cannot teach. They are learning to sit silently and observe nature up close-a skill that’s virtually impossible to develop in a noisy and overcrowded classroom setting. They are making social connections across a broader range of age groups. They cooperate together, using their different sizes and strengths to fulfill various roles within their games. I appreciate it that forest school is shaping my boys’ relationship with the outdoors. They’re learning how to spend extended periods of time in nature, what to do to pass the time, and developing knowledge that will get them much closer to nature in the coming decades. 28. What is special about the forest school program? A. Teachers engage in kids’ play. B. Kids play and learn outdoors. C. It focuses on nature protection. D. It offers various food and drinks. 29. How did the author feel about kids’ reaction to her questions? A. Awkward. B. Concerned. C. Relieved. D. Proud. 30. What does Paragraph 4 mainly talk about? A. The concerns caused by the program. B The benefits gained from role plays. C. The skills acquired by children. D. The games loved by teachers. 31. What can be a suitable title for the text? A. Nature: a wonderland for the young B. Forest school program proves a hit C. Parks are replacing traditional schools D. Forest school: a fine place for my kids D A new study in the journal of Tourism Analysis shows frequent travelers are happier with their lives than people who don't travel at all. Chun-Chu Chen, an assistant professor at Washington State University, conducted a survey to find out why some individuals travel more frequently than others and whether or not travel and tourism experiences have a lasting effect on happiness and wellness. Additionally, participants in the survey who reported regularly traveling at least 75 miles away from home also reported being about 7% happier when asked about their overall well-being than those who reported traveling very rarely or not at all. The results of his analysis show individuals who pay more attention to tourism-related information and frequently discuss their travel plans with friends are more likely to go on regular vacations than those who aren’t constantly thinking about their next trip. “While things like work, family life and friends play a bigger role in overall reports of well-being. The accumulation (积累) of travel experiences’ does appear to have a small yet noticeable effect on self-reported life satisfaction,” Chen said. Participants in the study were asked about the importance of travel in their lives, how much time they spent looking into 'and planning future vacations, and how many trips they went on over a year. They were also asked about their life satisfaction. Out of the 500 survey participants, a little over half reported going on more than four pleasure trips a year. Only 7% of respondents did not take any vacations. As travel restrictions (限制) due to COVID-19 pandemic begin to relax in the future, the research could. have important effects on both tourists and the tourism industry. Based on the results of the study, Chen said travel companies, resorts and even airlines, could launch social media campaigns, such as creating signs about the scientific benefits of vacation, to spark people’s interest in discussing their opinions about travel. 32. What is the benefit of frequent travelling according to the study? A. Getting more tourism information. B. Making more friends. C. Bettering tourism industry. D. Improving one's well-being. 33. What does Paragraph 5 mainly talk about? A. Why the professor carried out the study. B. How the participants felt about the survey. C. What the participants were interviewed about. D. What the participants panned to do in the future. 34. What can we infer from the last paragraph? A. Tourism industry should improve their service. B. The results of the study will benefit tourism industry. C. COVID-19 pandemic will be more serious in the future. D. People will live a happier life after COVID-19 pandemic. 35. Which of the following can be the best title for the text? A. Travel more and be happier B. Make good use of travelling C. Prepare for the tourism development D. Make travel plans with friends 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,选项中有两项为多余选项。 Everyone feels inactive, sad, or a bit dead inside every now and then. Everyone followed the teachers’ instructions and made preparations for it, except Marc. He just turned a deaf ear to it. He thought he would rather play football than study. His mum and dad repeated the importance of revision for exams over and over again. They told him that he should be working hard preparing for the test. But the weather was sunny and he thought he had better things to do. “Shall we go to the park?” he said to his friend Huck one afternoon. “It’s a nice day. We could play football and kick around.” Huck shook his head. “I’m supposed to review my lessons,” he said. “I’m going home to do some math.” Marc was amazed. “You’d rather do math than play football?” “Math is important. Besides, my mum says she will buy me a mountain bike if I do well in the math exam.” “That’s crazy,” said Marc. Huck shrugged (耸肩) and replied, “Wait until I beat you in the test and you will watch me riding past on my mountain bike!” “You won’t beat me,” said Marc. “Oh yes, I will.” “Oh no, you won’t! That will never happen. Just wait and see!” For the first time ever, Marc wanted to perform well. He couldn’t bear it if his friend came top and he did badly. B. The benefits gained from role plays. 第 7页(共 10 页) 第 8页(共 10 页) C. COVID-19 pandemic will be more serious in the future. D. People will live a happier life after COVID-19 pandemic. 35. Which of the following can be the best title for the text? A. Travel more and be happier B. Make good use of travelling C. Prepare for the tourism development D. Make travel plans with friends 第二节(共 5小题;每小题 2.5分,满分 12.5分) 根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项,选项中有两项为多余选 项。 Everyone feels inactive, sad, or a bit dead inside every now and then. Every day, their teachers gave them loads of homework and told them the test was very important and that they ought to spare no effort to perform well in it. We could play football and kick around.” Huck shook his head.“I’m supposed to review my lessons,” he said. So when he got home, he opened his math book. But there was so much to do. All of a sudden, he felt like he’d forgotten everything he had learned that year! He didn’t know where to start. When his sister Lily came in, he was sitting expressionlessly by the desk, just staring out of the window. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为 150 左右; 2. 请按如下格式作答。 Paragraph 1: “You don’t look happy, Marc. He wanted to make careful preparations for the exam, but ran into difficulties with math. He was at a loss what to do next. “Don’t worry! I’ll help you. Just be confident!” replied Lily. The following days, Marc worked very hard and made great progress. Gradually, his confidence grew and he could solve math problems with ease, with the instructions appearing in his brain as if the teacher was standing at his side . On the day of the exam, Marc went to school with great confidence. He met Huck in the classroom, who looked delighted as if he was bound to win. But Marc didn’t care. When the exam began, Marc answered all the questions as best as he could. Several days later, the result came out. It turned out that Marc did much better than Huck. “Well done,” said Mom. “We could go to see a movie to celebrate, and you can choose one.” “I think Lily should choose,” said Marc. “I would never have gained such a great achievement without her help and encouragement .” 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$Sheet1 武威第十五中学 高二 年级 英语 学科 选择题答案 试卷类型 选择题号 选择答案 单/多选 满分 漏选得分 A 001 B 单选 1.5 0 A 002 C 单选 1.5 0 A 003 C 单选 1.5 0 A 004 A 单选 1.5 0 A 005 C 单选 1.5 0 A 006 C 单选 1.5 0 A 007 B 单选 1.5 0 A 008 C 单选 1.5 0 A 009 B 单选 1.5 0 A 010 A 单选 1.5 0 A 011 A 单选 1.5 0 A 012 B 单选 1.5 0 A 013 B 单选 1.5 0 A 014 C 单选 1.5 0 A 015 C 单选 1.5 0 A 016 B 单选 1.5 0 A 017 A 单选 1.5 0 A 018 A 单选 1.5 0 A 019 C 单选 1.5 0 A 020 B 单选 1.5 0 A 021 B 单选 2.5 0 A 022 C 单选 2.5 0 A 023 D 单选 2.5 0 A 024 C 单选 2.5 0 A 025 B 单选 2.5 0 A 026 D 单选 2.5 0 A 027 A 单选 2.5 0 A 028 B 单选 2.5 0 A 029 C 单选 2.5 0 A 030 C 单选 2.5 0 A 031 D 单选 2.5 0 A 032 D 单选 2.5 0 A 033 C 单选 2.5 0 A 034 B 单选 2.5 0 A 035 A 单选 2.5 0 A 036 B 单选 2.5 0 A 037 G 单选 2.5 0 A 038 A 单选 2.5 0 A 039 E 单选 2.5 0 A 040 D 单选 2.5 0 A 041 B 单选 1 0 A 042 D 单选 1 0 A 043 A 单选 1 0 A 044 C 单选 1 0 A 045 A 单选 1 0 A 046 B 单选 1 0 A 047 C 单选 1 0 A 048 D 单选 1 0 A 049 C 单选 1 0 A 050 B 单选 1 0 A 051 D 单选 1 0 A 052 C 单选 1 0 A 053 C 单选 1 0 A 054 A 单选 1 0 A 055 D 单选 1 0 A 056 单选 A 057 单选 A 058 单选 A 059 单选 A 060 单选 A A A A A A A A A A Sheet2 Sheet3 $$ ( 读后续写 (满分25分) Para 1. “You don’t look happy, Marc.
