A Sample Report
Last week, the Students’ Union of our school conducted a survey among 200 students about the use of shared bikes to find out why they use or don't use shared bikes. Here are the results.
According to the first diagram, students who use shared bikes account for 70%. Almost all (96%) who use shared bikes do so because it is convenient to use them. About two thirds (67%) use shared bikes because of the low prices of using them. Very few (19%) use them for reducing pollution, such as air pollution and noise pollution. Also, only 31% use them for the reason that riding bikes can provide good exercise.
31
However, there are still 30% of them who don't use shared bikes. Over 70% (71%) of them don't use shared bikes because of the safety problems that may arise while riding bikes. 30% of them think it is too hot in summer and too cold in winter, which discourages them from using shared bikes.
To sum up, it is obvious that shared bikes have pedaled their way into our lives. The majority of students use them because of their convenience and low cost. Nevertheless, not as many use them in view of environmental protection and exercise. This indicates that we should impress the significance of bike-sharing on people in these two aspects. Besides, to encourage more people to use shared bikes, we should try to work out solutions to the safety problem of riding bikes, like building more cycling tracks.
