Learn the new words and expressions Step2: fast reading 1. According to the picture predict: what happened? 2. Read quickly and find the time order. Then divide the whole passage into three scenes. 3. Match the scene with the right picture then find the main ideas. Step2: careful reading 1. Read the passage and answer the two questions. 2. Divide the scene one into two parts: actions and conversations. A: Write down the action words among dog, Nancy and mom. B: Act out the conversations. C: Talk about the usage of the minute, as soon as and as...as 3. Read the scene two: try to find the same meaning as the following sentence: Neither of us did any housework for a week. The usage of neither. 4. Read scene 3 carefully and answer three questions. A. Who cleaned the house? B. How did Nancy and mom feel? C. Why does Nancy write the passage? Step3: practice 3c.
