Why was Nancy's mom angry with her? → Because Nancy wanted to watch TV first instead of taking the dog for a walk, and her mom thought she watched TV all the time and never helped out around the house.
Did they solve the problem? How? → Yes. For one week, neither Nancy nor her mom did any housework. Finally, Nancy couldn't find a clean dish or a clean shirt, so she cleaned the house. Then she apologized to her mom and said she understood they needed to share the housework.

Well, I work all day at school, too! I'm just as tired as you are!
Check answers as a class, explaining sentence structures and meanings.
