We had a charity (慈善) sale to raise money for a children’s home. It started at 8:30 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m. We were very excited about this charity sale. To prepare for the sale, I took some of my favorite toys to sell, including a cute toy bear. I spent ninety cents buying it. Jack brought lots of interesting storybooks and he has already read them twice. Linda brought some of her old clothes because the clothes didn’t fit her anymore, but they were still clean. Finally, many of our neighbors came to the sale and bought what they needed. Someone bought my little bear, others bought Jack’s books and Linda’s clothes. Everyone was very kind. After checking the money, we gave it away to the children’s home. We really did a good thing for others by ourselves. Helping others will leave us with wonderful memories. We hope that more and more people will join us to do something good for the children in need. We all should know that small actions can make a big difference to the world! Let’s do our best to make the world better. 1．How long did the charity sale last? (不超过5个词) 2．How did they deal with the money? (不超过10个词) 3．What can we know from the story? (不超过10个词) （2024·安徽合肥·一模）阅读下列短文，并用英语回答问题（请注意每小题的词数要求）。 One day, an eagle (鹰) saw a bee busy on a flower. The eagle said to it, “How I pity you, poor thing! You are hard-working and never get a rest! All through the summer, thousands of bees are building their houses and making honey. But who will see the results of your work? I must tell you that I don’t see the pleasure of doing that. For your life, what plan will you make? To die without achieving any success like all the rest? What a difference there is between us!
