Develop students’ writing abilities and skills. 教学过程 Step 1 Appreciation and thinking T shows Ss a video and asks them to think about the following questions: 1.Do you feel the same way with him? 2.What caused these problems? 3. How did you solve them? 【设计意图：引导学生通过观看视频产生共鸣，拉近距离，再通过问题的设置引发学生思考，为阅读做铺垫，激发学生阅读兴趣。】 Step 2 Prediction before reading T leads Ss to focus on the title, pictures of the magazine article and think about the following questions: · Who are the “ strangers” ? · Why are they under the same roof ? 【设计意图：指导学生通过图片和题目去预测文章的重要信息，一方面可以让学生了解杂志类文章的特点，另一方面这种种创造性阅读的方式有助提升学生推断力。】 Step 3 Reading for organization 1.
