Learning objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
1. know the meaning of new words and expressions like “ perhaps” “flyover” “there will be more/ fewer” with the help of the pictures;
2.get the gist and detailed information about future travelling by listening activities;
3. be aware of the changes of future travelling by using the core sentence patterns freely to talk about the future traffic facilities and conditions and give logical reasons.

To stress the key sentence patterns and lay the foundation for the following steps.

List different kinds of transport.
To arouse students’ interest and lead in the topic.

Learn new words related to the topic with pictures: perhaps, flyover, traffic jams…
To help students grasp the new words and clear up the difficulties of the following activities.

1. Look and guess
Look at the pictures and given information to guess what they are talking about.
To activate students thinking ability.

Listen for the first time and get the main idea of the dialogue.

Listen for the second time and tick the mentioned aspects.
To develop students’ skill of listening for specific information
