教学实施过程: (一)准备
1. Have students review the words and expressions related to the topic of
environmental problems in this unit.
2. Have students go through part A on page 13 and ask them to list more
environmental problems they know of.
3. Have students learn the tip of “Interacting with others” in part A, and
use it to discuss in groups the topic they would like to choose.
(二)实施
1. Have students research their chosen topic, collect useful information and
decide what information should be included in the booklet by answering the
following questions.
(1) What topic will you choose to research?
We will choose global warming as our topic./We choose to research the topic
of endangered animals.
(2) Why do you choose this topic?
I was shocked when I was watching a TV programme about global warming since
it has greatly affected our planet./I read a news report and got to know that

animals, especially wild animals, are at risk. I think animals are important
to us and we should protect animals and their habitats.
(3) How will you research your chosen topic?
We will surf the Internet and collect useful information. We will use the
diagram in part B to help us.
