I was on duty at the school gate one day. It was very hot and dry. A student came to sit beside me with her arm covered, her face was pale, threw down her mobile phone and asked me to help her call 120. I found that her left arm was bleeding, her arm showed a half wound, blood dripping (滴) from the clothes along the opening, she was trembling (颤抖) and said that her arm was hurt, the wound was deep and bleeding. I immediately called 120 and asked her not to move so as not to tear (撕裂) the wound again. The student was so painful that she cried, so I held her all the time, and then called the class teacher and the student’s friends to ask them to send someone to take care of her. When the ambulance was late, I ordered a car to take the student to the hospital and then called the student’s friend again to tell her which hospital the student was in so that she could take care of her.
The next morning, I received a unfamiliar call. When I picked up, I realized it was the wounded student’s voice, she said: “teacher, I have nothing, the wound was treated in time yesterday. I’ll just be in hospital for a few days. This is the first time I’ve been hurt, so I was very nervous and scared yesterday. Thank you for helping me, let me not so afraid.”
I put the phone down, feeling good.
