形容词 形容词是说明人或事物的性质、特征或状态的词 所以，常用来修饰名词或代词 一般放在名词之前 一、形容词的种类 1.描述形容词 表示名词的性质、颜色、大小、长短和状态等 形容词可分为以下几类： She buys some new books for her daughter. 说明书的性质是新的 她给她的女儿买了一些新书。 Giraffes have long necks.长颈鹿有长长的脖子。 说明脖子的长短 A panda has black and white fur. 说明熊猫皮毛的的颜色 熊猫长着黑白相间的皮毛。 2.数量形容词 表示物品的多少 1 some、all、much、few等 some表示“一些”，用在肯定句中；any表示“任何的”，用在否定句和疑问句中。两者既可修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词 There is some milk in the bottle.瓶子里有一些牛奶。 some修饰不可数名词milk Eat some apples,Jacob.吃些苹果，雅各布。 some修饰可数名词apples Ididn'teat any meatoday.我今天没有吃任何的肉。 any修饰不可数名词meat all表示“所有的”，no表示“没有”；两者既可修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词 All the students are coming.所有的学生都要来。 all修饰可数名词 students Jacob was so thirsty that he drank all the water in the bottle. all修饰不可数名词water 雅各布特别渴，以至于他喝完了水瓶里的所有的水。 There were no letters this morning.今天早上没有信。 no修饰可数名词letters He has lost his purse, so he has no money to take a taxi. no修饰不可数名词money 他已丢了他的钱包，所以他没钱打车了。 many和much都表示“许多”；many修饰可数名词，much修饰不可数名词 In the zoo,we saw many monkeys.我们在动物园里看见了许多猴子。many修饰可数名词 monkeys I have much work to do tonight.今晚我有很多工作要做。 much修饰不可数名词work a few表示肯定，意为“有些；几个”；few表示否定，意为“很少的；几乎没有”。两者均修饰可数名词 a few friends几个朋友 few friends 没几个朋友 a few grapes几个葡萄 few grapes没多少葡萄 a little表示肯定，意为“少量的；一些”；little表示否定，意为“极少的；几乎没有”。两者均修饰不可数名词 a little sugar 少量的糖 little sugar 极少的糖 a little money 一 些 钱 little money 没什么钱 2 数词(基数词和序数词)也是形容词的一种 He has three horses.他有三匹马。 June is the sixth month of the year.六月是一年中的第六个月份。 3.指示形容词 his、that、these、those 都是指示形容词 1 some、all、much、few等 some表示“一些”，用在肯定句中；any表示“任何的”，用在否定句和疑问句中。两者既可修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词 Look at that man over there.瞧那边的那个男人。 How much are those apples at the back? 后面那些苹果多少钱? 久经沙场 还记得前面讲过this、that、these、those可以作代词吗? 它们作指示形容词和指示代词时，有什么区别呢? →作指示代词时，起代替名词的作用，后面不加名词 This is my schoolbag.这是我的书包。 this后没有名词，此处就是指示代词 →作指示形容词时，修饰名词，用在名词前面 This schoolbag is mine.这个书包是我的。 this修饰名词 schoolbag，此处就是指示形容词 4.专有形容词 由专有名词或其变体转化而来，如：地名、国名等
