Unit 8 What’s in the pizza? Teaching aims and demands 教学重点：★掌握一些常用的蔬菜及食物的英语名称及复数形式 教学难点：★掌握及灵活运用本单元所学句型 The main and difficult points: ★Words: carrots peas onions beans potatoes tomatoes ★Sentences: What’s in the pizza? I like to eat pizza with some onions What food are they? Teaching materials: 相关的蔬菜及食物图片，及单词卡（对于复数形式要用红色笔标出），多媒体 Teaching process: Activity one:warm up 1st:What’s in the bag? ※T takes a bag,and put some pens, pencils ,books in it. ※Let one student come to the front and touch the things in the bag. And T will let him or her answer T’s question. T will ask him or her”What’s in the bag?” He/she should answer it. And if he/she is right, he/she will get points. Activity two:Review 1st:What’s in the zoo/ park/…? ※T can ask students”Where do you use these things?””Yes, at school. Then what other places do you know?” Let students have a revision of the places. And T can show the pictures to them. And T can ask students”What’s in the zoo? What is in the park?...” ※ Devide students into two teams ,and they should have a match to say the sentences . Activity three:New teaching 导入：We have review so many places ,and do you know “What’s in the kitchen?” 1st：part2 ※Let students try to say the words out. T shows the courseware to the students ,and let them try to say the words after T. ※If T have many apples ,many bananas ,how to say it ?(教师打开课件中的复数进行教学。注意potato and tamato,它们两个后要加es) ※Let students have a match with the computer. And they should say it as quickly as they can. ※T will give students several minutes to do the part3. They should read the names of the fruit or the vegetables, then match them with the right pictures. T will check the answers . 2nd：part 6 ※T show the pictures of the fruits and vegetables. But they have no colour. Let students try to say”what colour are the carrots?
