Making a fact file about a sportsperson
· 内容分析:
本板块围绕单元主题,要求学生结合所学语言知识和文化知识,以小组合作的形式完成一份介绍运动员的事实档案。教师可以挑选具有积极影响力的运动员作为例子;学生通过小组讨论,在明确活动要求的基础上,就选定运动员的个人基本信息、职业生涯、主要成就等方面收集并整理信息,最终完成档案。最后以小组为单位展示成品,用英语进行介绍,并对其他组的展示作简要评价。

Famous sportspersons’ photos are given, both Chinese and foreign sportsperson.
Step2 Discussion
Which sportsperson would your group like to research? Why?
Example:
Example: We want to do research on Deng Yaping. We believe Deng Yaping is a good example of sportspeople because she is one of the most well-known table tennis players in China, and she is regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of table tennis. She was a dedicated and hard-working athlete during her career. We all admire her.
