Unit1 Foodforthought 练 within your means. 1. After all, healthy eating exists at every price point. It doesn蒺t mean that you蒺re not healthy. Be aware of buzzwords (时髦术语) on the package. 2. These descriptions may be useful to some customers with special needs. But they蒺re also marketing terms that can paint an inaccurate picture that some foods are much healthier than others. Organic is fine if that蒺s what you want to buy, but for someone who is budget鄄conscious, that蒺s not necessary. If you shop based on labels alone, it蒺s easier to end up paying more but not neces鄄 sarily eating any healthier. 3. In鄄 stead, figure out what nutrients you need and look for them inside the package. Plan ahead and make a list. Most dietitians will tell you not to go to the grocery store while you蒺re hungry. But you also shouldn蒺t go without a list. When you shop without a plan, it蒺s really easy to buy more food than you need, or purchase ingredients you already have, leading to waste. 4. Developing a routine to eat healthy and maintain a budget will be easier if you come to the store with an idea of what you蒺re getting and generally how much it will cost. Once you start writing things down, especially the foods that you蒺re rebuying constantly...you can kind of see where your money is going to be at the supermarket.
