As it is a day of great importance to girls, it is also called the Young Girls' Festival or the Qiqiao Festival,literally meaning the Ingenuity-Begging Festival. 中国农历七月初七的七夕节，类似于西方国家的情人节。由于这一天对女孩来说非常重要，所以也被称为少女节或乞巧节，即向神灵讨要智巧的节日。 At night the sky is dotted with stars, and people can see the Milky Way stretching from the north to the south. On each bank of it is a bright star, which sees each other from afar. The Jade Emperor was touched and ordered Yue Lao to match a good husband to her.
