Very few people can pronounce my name correctly.

There is more than one pronunciation of ‘dance’.

〖复习〗spoken是speak的过去分词，speak意为“谈话，说”，其后常接语言，表示会说某种语言。speak的过去式是spoke。
I’ve spoken to the reporter about it.
我已经和记者说过这件事了。
Lisa can speak German.
Lisa会说德语。
- increase v. 增长，增多，增加
The population continues to increase. 人口持续增长。
The price of vegetables has increased. 蔬菜的价格已经上涨了。
〖拓展〗increase还可作名词，意为“增长，增多，增加”
Homelessness is on the increase. 无家可归者越来越多。
They need a pay increase. 他们需要提高工资。
- speed n. 速度

(1) at a speed of...“以......的速度”
The car is traveling at a speed of 50 miles an hour.

(2) at high/low/full/top speed “以高/低/全/最高速”
The plane flies at high speed. 飞机以高速飞行。
- mistake n. 错误
(1) make mistakes/a mistake 犯错
Tom is careless so he often makes mistakes.
Tom很粗心所以他经常犯错。
Peter said he made a mistake yesterday.
Peter说他昨天犯了一个错误。
(2) make mistakes/a mistake in... 在......方面犯错
Peter said he made a mistake in grammar yesterday.
Peter说他昨天犯了一个语法错误。
I used to make mistakes in writing.
我过去常常在写作方面犯错。
(3) by mistake 错误地，无意中
Sara took my umbrella by mistake. Sara错拿了我的伞。
Someone took Jerry’s math textbook by mistake.
有人错拿了Jerry的数学书。
〖拓展〗mistake还可作动词，意为“误解”，常用短语是mistake...for...“把......错认为......”
He always mistake me for Mary. 他总是把我错认为Mary。

My son usually practices the dance at night. (v.)

Andy practices singing on weekends. (v.)
