Warming-up 1.Greeting. 教师热情地和全班学生打招呼，与学生互动，在活跃的课堂气氛中复习上一单元的词句，让学生带着饱满的情绪学习新课。 T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning / afternoon, Miss / Mr. ...! T:(指着一位女生)Is she your sister? New Presentation Let’s learn. 1.school Practice pronunciation: “oo”/u:/-----zoo, too, afternoon, cool, school. 2.home -What’s this? - It’s home. 3.bus, taxi The home is far from the school. We come to school/go home by bus/taxi. 4.ship Show a map of China to find Hainan on it. Think and talk about how to go to Hianan ,then listen to audio to learn “ship”. 5.train Show a picture of Tian’anmen Square. Talk about how to go to Beijing and learn the word “train”. 【设计意图：采用不同形式进行教学，尽量做到“词不离句”，从而激活学生的英语思维。】 Ⅳ. Practice 1.Listen and repeat. 2.Let’s guess. 3.Play a game. 【设计意图：采用听、读、说、玩等形式，达到强化记忆,培养学生的基本技能以及反应能力。】 教学小贴士 在进行这个活动时，教师要在揭示本单元话题的同时，注意结合交通工具拓展学生的视野，了解一些著名的国内外名胜。教师可让学生讨论或做一些引导：已经身在北京的他，要去登雄伟的长城，可乘大巴(bus)，也可开车(car)去，骑自行车(bike)去比较辛苦。要去繁华的大都市上海，可以乘飞机(plane)、火车(train)，开车(car)路途较长，就比较辛苦了。要去美丽的海南，可以搭乘飞机(plane),也可先乘火车(train)，再搭乘轮船(ship)。而遥远的英国首都伦敦他得搭乘国际航班(plane)才能去。 Ⅴ.
