A Beautiful Place in China 

Sichuan Province is located in the southwestern part of China. It enjoys many world-famous

places of interest, such as Jiuzhaigou National Park and Dujiangyan.

Jiuzhaigou National Park is a nature reserve in the north of Sichuan Province. What is the most impressive is its multi-level waterfalls and colorful lakes. What's more, walking in the nature reserve, you have a chance to see rare animals like giant pandas. Another famous iconic attraction is Dujiangyan with the history of over 2,000 years. However, it is still playing an important part in irrigation 灌溉today.

I'm sure the visitors will be amazed by the beautiful scenery of Sichuan Province.

 

中国一个美丽的地方

四川省位于中国的西南部。它有许多举世闻名的名胜古迹，如九寨沟国家公园和都江堰。

九寨沟国家公园是四川省北部的一个自然保护区。最令人印象深刻的是它多层次的瀑布和五颜六色的湖泊。更重要的是，在自然保护区散步，你有机会看到像大熊猫这样的稀有动物。另一个著名的标志性景点是具有2000多年历史的都江堰。然而，它在今天的灌溉中仍然发挥着重要的作用。

    I am happy to receive your last letter, in which you said that you had made rapid progress in Chinese and would like to buy a book to know more about Chinese culture. I will highly recommend this book Journey to the West, a masterpiece written by Wu Cheng’ en.

I have three major reasons for the recommendation. To start with, it’s really an interesting book, telling many adventurous stories. In addition, we still can learn something from this book. We should be brave and confident in ourselves, no matter how many difficulties we meet. We should rely on each other. Last but not least, the book is one of the greatest masterpieces in China. It is well worth reading.
