How: The writer mainly writes the plot from beginning, development, climax, ending. He describes the story from three aspects:settings, characters, actions. Also, he uses conversations to develop the plot.
II. Analysis of students
Students at Senior 1 are interested in writing a story about a man meeting his friend again after he got out of jail. They have already known some basic elements about a story, that is, setting, characters, plot in the previous reading lesson. However, they still want to know how to write the story according to its development, and polish the story from settings, characters, actions and conversations. It’s necessary for teacher to take their ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development) into consideration and construct their own ending to the story by scaffolding.
