She was ill, so she did not go to school. 知识模块1:and/but/or /so的用法 1. 并列连词and意思是“和,又”,表达并列关系。如: Mike likes playing football and singing songs. 拓展: “祈使句+and+简单句”,其中祈使句表示一个条件,并列连词and引导的简单句则表示一个较好的结果,谓语常用一般将来时。 Be careful ,and you will make fewer mistakes. 2. 并列连词or意思是“或者”,表达选择关系。如: Which do you like better, juice or coffee? 注:1)在否定句中并列成分通常用or连接,而不用and。如: I can speak Japanese and French.(否定句) 2)“祈使句+or+简单句”的句型,也是英语中的常见句型,此时or的意思是“否则”。这个句型中可以和if引导的条件状语从句进行转换。 E.g.
