Language can give people renewed hope and confidence and bring the courage to continue to fight against the coronavirus. The speech which is full of five basic sentence structures provides a real context for students to learn the five structures. Student analysis: Senior students in the first grade is active and curious, but they are easy to get bored and not confident enough. Generally, they have acquired the basic abilities of learning English, but they still have a long way to go. As we have noticed, some students haven’t formed the good habit of previewing and reviewing. They rely on teachers and lack the ability of learning independently and autonomously. As for the five basic sentence structures, they have caught the concept of the part of speech, especially the verb in junior high, which is essential for them to learn the five basic sentence structures. According to the analysis, movie clips will be played to relieve students’ impatience, boredom and laziness. Meanwhile, interactive learning method will be adopted to guide and inspire them.
