Teaching objectives:
1. By the end of the lesson, students will get the main idea and the structure of this passage and the author’s writing purpose through predicting and skimming.
2. By the end of the lesson, students will get important information about English through careful reading and understand the wonder of English and the culture connotation behind these English words.
3. By the end of the lesson, students will be open to various ideas and learn to express opinions logically.
4. By the end of the lesson, students will develop a better attitude towards learning English and have a better understanding of our mother language.
