第十七章        There be 句型 There be 句型是一种很常见的句型，用于表示某个地点或某段时间存在某人或某物。句型中be动词面的名词或名词词组是句子的主语，be 动词根据主语的单复数和时态的变化而变化，当主语为并列辐时，be动词与最邻近的主语保持一致。 一、There be句型的时态 There be 句型与其他普通句型一样，有时态的变化，可以分为一般现在时、一般将来时、一般过去时以及现在完成时等。如： There is／was a watch on the desk. 桌子上有块手表。 There are／were some apples in the basket. 篮子里有些苹果。 There will be an important meeting next Monday. 下周一将有一个重要的会议。 There have been a lot of visitors in our country since last July． 自去年7月份以来，我国有许多游客。 二、There be 句型的否定式 There be 句型否定式的基本构成是：There be＋not／no＋名词或名词词组。 1．There be＋not（后面通常接a／an／any）＋名词或名词词组。如： There isn’t a book on the desk.桌子上没有一本书。 There weren’t any people in the square.广场上没有人。 2．There be＋no＋名词或名词词组。如： There was no water in the glass.杯子里没有水。 There were no pictures on the wall.墙上没有画。 There is no such thing at all.根本没有这样的事。 三、There be句型的疑问句 There be 句型疑问句的基本构成是将be 动词（is，was，are，were）置于句首，后面接there＋名词或名词词组。该句型将来时的构成是将will置于句首，be用原形。如： （1）-Is there a cat on the floor？ 地板上有只猫吗？ - No，there isn’t. 不，没有。 （2） - Were there any apples in the basket？ 篮子里有苹果吗？ -Yes，there were some. 是的，有一些。 -No，there weren’t any. 不，没有。 （3）-Will there be a film tomorrow evening？ 明天晚上有电影吗？ -Yes，there will. 是的，有。 - No，there won’t. 不，没有。 练习题 一、用There be的正确形式填空。 1. _______________ 365 days in a year. 2. _______________ a castle in this town 200 years ago. 3. _______________ a film in the cinema last night. 4. _______________ a football match next Sunday. 5._______________  5 people in his family. 6. _______________ any water in the fridge. 7. _______________ much milk in the cake. 8. _______________ a lot of sheep on the farm. 9. _______________ a book,a watch and two pens on the table. 10. _______________ two schools in our city several years ago. 二、指出并改正下列病句。 1.Look! There was a boy on the playground. ___________________________________________________
