Unit 5 Education Topic Talk 教材分析 本课是本单元的起始课，起到了激活教育相关背景知识的作用，并为本单元后面的教学内容做了话题、词汇以及思维的铺垫。 教学目标 在本课学习结束时，学生能够：解释教育的定义。 教学重难点 【教学重点】 1. 通过对听力文本的梳理内化，学生能够运用所学表达自己的想法，同时巩固所学知识。 2. 引导学生获取信息，理解教育的重要性。 【教学难点】 正确使用所学表达，理解有关主题的名言，介绍对教育的看法，并作简要解释。 教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up 1. What is personal development? 2. What is social development? 3. Do you think education is important in personal and social development? Why or why not? 设计意图：引入话题，激活学生已有知识；同时积极引导学生回顾、拓展与话题相关的表达。 Step 2 Listening 1. You will listen to a talk by a presenter interviewing a professor on the impact education has on social and personal development. 2. Read the Text Builder carefully.
