教材分析
本课是本单元的起始课,起到了激活教育相关背景知识的作用,并为本单元后面的教学内容做了话题、词汇以及思维的铺垫。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:解释教育的定义。
教学重难点

1. 通过对听力文本的梳理内化,学生能够运用所学表达自己的想法,同时巩固所学知识。
2. 引导学生获取信息,理解教育的重要性。
【教学难点】
正确使用所学表达,理解有关主题的名言,介绍对教育的看法,并作简要解释。
教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. What is personal development?
2. What is social development?
3. Do you think education is important in personal and social development? Why or why not?
设计意图:引入话题,激活学生已有知识;同时积极引导学生回顾、拓展与话题相关的表达。
Step 2 Listening
1. You will listen to a talk by a presenter interviewing a professor on the impact education has on social and personal development.
2. Read the Text Builder carefully. Then listen to the dialogue and complete it by underlining the expressions you hear.

设计意图:在听前相关词汇表达铺垫的基础上,引导学生理解听力信息,完成句子;学生能够获取大致信息和一些细节信息,启发学生发现文本内部结构,为话题输出做好准备。

设计意图:帮助学生巩固所学,运用所学表达自己对教育的感悟。
