四、教学步骤

1.导入
(1) 教师播放有关动物运动会的故事。
(2) 教师说:“Our friends are going to have their sports day. But when?”
2.学习对话
(1) 观察对话情景。
教师请学生尝试自己读一读教材中两个对话,并告诉大家他们几月几日开运动会。学生应该能够根据“What's the date today? It's November 19th. We are going to have our sports day tomorrow.”这两个信息推测出:“They are going to have sports day on November 20th.”[来源:Z&xx&k.Com]
(2) 观看动画,理解对话。
观看对话动画两遍,观看之前告诉学生注意听谁要参加什么比赛。学生观看后能够回答出Maomao要参加赛跑项目。[来源:Z§xx§k.Com]
教师说:“Maomao is going to run a race. Why?”观看对话动画两遍,学生尝试说出:“I run fast.”
师生交流:“Can you run fast? Who can run fast?”
