教学设计
一、教学目标
1.能听懂提问“What's the tenth month in English?”并能用英语回答出相关月份。
2.能介绍10月的重要节日。
3.能听懂、说出并认读单词eleventh、twelfth、October、November、December、month、right。
二、教学重难点

正确说出:“October 1st is our National Day.”
三、教具准备
教学挂图、教学光盘、单词图卡、日历等。
四、教学步骤
(一) Listen and say
1.导入
(1) Listen and do活动。
教师事先发给每个学生课本人物分别坐在椅子上的单张小图片及教室场景图。教师说:“… sits in the first / second / … row.”请学生根据教师说的顺序给以上人物依次排成一队。
(2) 师生交流。
教师提问:“When is Teacher's Day?”请学生尝试回答:“September the tenth.”教师呈现一张年历的图片,指着9月说:“September is the ninth month.”
教师指着年历问:“How many months are there in a year?”学生应能答出“Twelve.”教师说:“Yes, there are twelve months in a year.”
教师继续说:“We know the ninth month is September.”提问:“What's the first / second / … month in English?”(此环节的目的有3个:①提前渗透问句“What's the … month in English?”②给已会的学生表达与交流的机会;③复习序数词1st~10th)。
