However, a recent announcement worried Ke and other karaoke fans. They were concerned about whether they would be able to order their favorite songs in the KTV bars in the future.

China Audio-Video Copyright Association (CAVCA) issued a notice to ask KTV bars across China to remove over 6,000 songs by Oct 31.
中国音像著作权集体管理协会(简称“中国音集协”)发出公告,要求KTV终端生产管理商和卡拉OK经营者在今年10月31日前,删除或者不向消费者提供6000多部音乐电视作品。
The songs include Ten Years by Hong Kong singer Eason Chan, Bubble by fellow Hong Kong musician G.E.M. and Listen to the Ocean by singer A-Mei from Taiwan.
这些作品包括香港歌手陈奕迅的《十年》、香港歌手邓紫棋的《泡沫》以及台湾歌手张惠妹的《听海》。
According to a statement by CAVCA on Nov 5, the move aimed to crack down on copyright infringements(侵犯).
