教材分析
Living well是高中英语选修7第一单元的内容。本单元以残疾及残疾人生活为中心,介绍了一些残疾人,他们凭借顽强的毅力和社会的关爱克服生活中的种种困难,以积极的态度面对人生的挑战。本课时是其中的阅读理解部分,也是本单元的主体。文中讲述了主人公Marty因为身体疾病而遇到的种种困难,和他如何克服困难努力使生活充实而有意义的。通过本节课的学习,可提高学生理解、尊重、关心、帮助残疾人的意识,同时从残疾人通过坚忍不拔的努力取得成就的事例,培养学生勇于面对困难和挫折的精神。
学习目标
After reading the text, the students are expected to have
· developed their reading habits, like general reading, scanning for details and summarizing the main idea of paragraphs.
