Twenty-eight astronauts recently completed China’s first-ever cave survival training, which took place over a one-month period, according to the China Manned Space Agency (中国载人航天局).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a far-off idea. It has entered many parts of our lives, from daily tasks to global (全球的) fields. At the 2025 Bund Summit (外滩金融峰会) in Shanghai, different AI products were shown. Some companies showed their high-tech AI machines, showing how much AI has improved in different fields.
Dr. Demis Hassabis, a top AI scientist and the winner of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, said at an event in Greece that “learning how to learn” will be the most important skill for young people. He thinks that as AI develops faster, this skill will be more important because it helps people keep up with changing technology. He added that AI can do many things, like dealing with large amounts (数量) of data (数据) quickly, but it can’t give people the ability to explore new knowledge on their own.
To keep up with AI’s fast development, students need to develop important skills. These skills include critical (批判性) thinking, managing study time well, and getting used to new technologies. In some schools, students learn to check if AI-collected information is trustworthy—this is a way to practice critical thinking. With these skills, students can do better in an AI-driven future.
Though AI brings much convenience, we shouldn’t depend on it too much. We should see AI as a useful tool, not a replacement for our own thinking. Only then can we make good use of AI while keeping our ability to learn and create.
28. What may be shown at the 2025 Bund Summit in Shanghai?
A. A silk scarf. B. A traditional fan. C. A smart watch

A. Forgettable B. Changeable C. Dependable
31. Which of the following could be the best title for the passage?

How can you make your English better? It is a question often asked by many English learners. When you are learning English, you might be looking for little tricks (小窍门) to add to your knowledge outside of lesson time.
____32____
If you can try thinking in English first, you won’t need to translate what you want to say in your own language. And this could help you become more fluent (流利的) in English. So how do you do it?
____33____ First, start by looking around when you’re waiting for a bus, or waiting for your food to cook. Then see if you can recognize the English word for things around you, says the website Rachel’s English. Second, you can begin building these into sentences: add action and description words to those things, education site Repetry says.
Learners often slow themselves down by depending on a dictionary. But Spain-based English teacher Keith O’Hare suggests only using words you know when you’re trying to think in English. On his website, O’Hare says checking a word in the dictionary may build vocabulary, but it doesn’t build fluency. ____34____ As you get more confident, you can begin having conversations in English in your head, Repetry says.
Some language experts say you could also start and finish each day by describing what you’ll be doing or what you’ve done. ____35____ After a period of time doing all these things, you might begin dreaming in English too.
A. Here are two basic ways to increase your fluency.
B. You can watch English films together with your friends.
C. The answer is to think in English and use it as much as possible.
D. At the same time, you are also allowed to use familiar words and tenses (时态).
E. So, if you don’t know a word, find a way to say it using words you do know.
【答案】32. C 33. A 34. E 35. D
【解析】
【导语】本文围绕“如何提高英语水平”这一话题展开,重点介绍了通过“用英语思考”来提升流利度的几个实用建议和小窍门。

【33题详解】
根据下文“First, start by looking around... Second, you can begin building these into sentences...”可知,本段主要介绍了两个具体的步骤或方法。选项A“Here are two basic ways to increase your fluency.”作为段首句,能够很好地统领下文提到的“First”和“Second”两个建议。
【34题详解】
根据上文“O’Hare says checking a word in the dictionary may build vocabulary, but it doesn’t build fluency.”以及前一句建议“only using words you know”。选项E“So, if you don’t know a word, find a way to say it using words you do know.”是对上文观点的进一步解释和总结,逻辑通顺。
【35题详解】
根据上文“Some language experts say you could also start and finish each day by describing what you’ll be doing or what you’ve done.”这涉及到对自己行为的描述。选项D“At the same time, you are also allowed to use familiar words and tenses (时态).”补充说明了在进行这种自我描述练习时的具体操作细节,与上文衔接紧密。

Music is called a world language. It is because music can bring people together from different cultures and backgrounds. A song may be sung in a language we don’t understand, but the feeling it gives can be understood by everyone.
In our school, there is a music club called “Rhythm of Youth”. Every Wednesday afternoon, students get together to share their favorite songs and instruments. Some play the guitar, some sing, and others just listen. The club welcomes all kinds of music—pop, rock, classical, folk and even rap.
Last month, the club held a small concert. A student from Class 9 played a piece of traditional Chinese music on the erhu. Then a group of students sang a pop song in English. The audience clapped and cheered. After the concert, many students said they felt closer to each other. They found that music could break the walls between them.
Music also helps us in other ways. When we are sad, a happy song can cheer us up. When we are tired, a soft melody can calm us down. It is a friend that never leaves us.

Students had different opinions._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】
Is AI a Good Helper in Our Life?
Recently we had a class discussion on whether AI is a helper or a problem in our daily life. Students had different opinions.
Some students think that AI is a good helper because it helps us study. For example, it can explain difficult math problems clearly. What’s more, we can practice English with it to improve our spoken English.
However, others hold different views. They believe that AI makes us lazy. If we depend on it too much, we may lose our problem-solving ability. Besides, it may stop us from thinking independently.
In my opinion, AI is just a tool. We should use it properly to help us learn better instead of letting it do everything for us. Only by using it wisely can we make progress.

Twenty-eight astronauts recently completed China’s first-ever cave survival training, which took place over a one-month period, according to the China Manned Space Agency (中国载人航天局).
The astronauts were divided into four groups. Each group stayed in a natural cave for six days and five nights. Inside the cave, the average temperature was only about 8°C and the air was very wet.
During their stay, the astronauts took part in more than ten activities, including checking the cave environment, drawing maps, practicing communication between astronauts and ground control, and doing exercises. They explored the cave, carried out scientific research, and managed their daily supplies.
The training was physically and mentally challenging. The astronauts needed to move through very narrow tunnels, climb up and down cliffs, and stay in cold and wet places for a long time. They also had to overcome fears, such as being afraid of darkness and not being able to feel things clearly.
Before, in the summer of 2016, Chinese astronaut Ye Guangfu took part in a week-long underground training program in Italy. It was held by the European Space Agency.
In the future, China plans to continue these strict training programs to help the astronaut team become better at living in hard environments and complete their missions successfully.

29. According to Dr. Demis Hassabis, what is the most important skill for young people?
A. Getting used to new technologies
B. Learning how to learn
C. Mastering basic computer skills
30. What does the underlined word “trustworthy” mean in Paragraph 3?
A. Forgettable B. Changeable C. Dependable
31. Which of the following could be the best title for the passage?
A. AI Users: To Learn How to Learn
B. AI Products: To Bring More Fun to Life
C. AI Technologies: To Be Used in More Fields
