Five years ago, Sally was the new kid in my class. She was friendly and kind, and we quickly became the best friends. We spent almost every day together, sharing our dreams, worries, and secrets. I trusted her completely, so I told her some of my family life.
But one day, everything changed. I walked into school and noticed everyone looking at me strangely. Soon, I realized they were laughing at me. Someone had told them my secrets, and I felt like someone had stabbed me in the back. I couldn’t believe it—I thought it must be Sally.
Heartbroken, I decided to change schools. Sally called me many times, but I never answered. I was too hurt and angry to talk to her. For years, I carried the pain of losing our friendship.
Five years later, I met Anna, an old classmate, at the bookstore. We started talking about the past, and she told me something surprising: it wasn’t Sally who had shared my secrets. It was Mary, another classmate who loved to talk behind others’ backs. I was shocked. All those years, I had blamed the wrong person.
I stood there quietly, feeling full of regret (后悔). If I had trusted Sally and called her, if I had given her a chance to explain, there was a chance we would still be friends. I understood that misunderstandings would get worse if we didn’t talk about them, but honest conversations can help them.
Now, I always remember this lesson. I try to be honest about my feelings and listen to others carefully. When we understand each other, trust grows, and the pain of being apart goes away.

27. What’s the best title of the passage?

Lucy ran out of the empty room into the hall and found the other three. “It’s all right,” she repeated, “I’ve come back.”
“Poor old Lucy, where have you been hiding?” said Peter.
“I’ve been away for hours since I went into the wardrobe (衣橱).” Lucy replied.
“Don’t be silly, Lucy,” said Susan. “We just came out of that room a moment ago, and you were not there then.”
“She’s not being silly at all,” said Peter. “She’s just fabricating a story for fun.” “No, Peter. My story is real.” she said. “It’s a magic wardrobe. There’s a forest inside it, and it’s snowing, and it’s called Narnia. Come and see.”
The others did not know what to think, but all went back with Lucy into the room because of her excitement. She opened the door of wardrobe and cried, “Now please see for yourselves.”
“It’s just a common wardrobe. Look! There’s the back of it.” said Susan.
Then everyone looked in and pulled the coats apart, and what they all saw was a perfectly common wardrobe. There was no forest and no snow, only the back of the wardrobe with hooks on it.
“A good lie, Lucy.” Peter said, “You have fooled us. We believed you.” Lucy grew very red in the face and tried to say something, though she hardly knew what she was trying to say. The others who thought she was lying made her very unhappy. And so things went on until the next wet day.
They decided to play hide-and-seek because there was still no sign of a break in the weather. Susan was “It” and as soon as the others ran away to hide, she began to look for them. Just then. Lucy went to the room again where the wardrobe was. She believed that she was right...

On October 15, 2026, Tesla (特斯拉) showed its new Roadster at a SpaceX test site in Texas. The car went upside down on a curved ramp (弧形坡道). Then it jumped over some parked Teslas in the air. Everyone was surprised. Elon Musk wrote, “Turns out the future does have flying cars.”
How does it “fly”? It uses two special systems. First, strong fans under the car draw air out to create low pressure, keeping the car stuck to the ground even when upside down. Second, cold-gas thrusters (推进器) shoot compressed (压缩的) air out of nozzles (喷嘴) to push the car up. Unlike rocket engines (发动机), it does not burn fuel (燃料). Tesla says it can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 0.81 seconds.
However, this “flying” is not like the flying cars in science fiction movies. It can only stay in the air for seconds, not minutes. Also, the Rocket type that can really fly is a single-seat model and is not allowed on public roads. The types legal for the road—the Performance and Thrust models—do not have the full flight system. As one report put it, “The flying car cannot go on the road, and the road car cannot fly.”
Tesla says production will begin in 2028, but that is still years away. Even when it is ready, there will be many rules to follow. Musk has said a flying car must meet very high safety standards before it is allowed above public roads. Some experts think the “flying” is more of a show than a useful feature for daily life.
Still, the Roadster shows how fast technology is moving. A few years ago, a flying car seemed impossible. Now it is real, even if not yet ready for everyone. Bryant Walker Smith, a law professor, said,
“This was a test of a special car using a technology around for many years and will not be coming to public roads in 2028.” The future may still be far away, but it is coming—one small step at a time.
32. Where can we most probably read this text?
A. In a storybook. B. In a travel guide.
C. In a science newspaper. D. In a restaurant menu.
33. According to Paragraph 2, how do the thrusters make the Roadster go up?
A. By burning fuel to create fire. B. By sending compressed air from nozzles.
C. By fans pulling it upward. D. By wheels driving it upward.
34. What can be inferred (推断) about the “flying” feature from Paragraph 3?
A. It supports long-distance flight. B. It works better than common cars.
C. It cannot serve daily use well. D. It will be available in 2028.
35. What is the main purpose of this passage?
A. To report Tesla’s flying car test and talk about its real-world problems.
B. To explain why Tesla’s flying car will replace normal cars.
C. To compare Tesla’s Roadster with other flying cars.
D. To teach readers how to drive a flying car safely.

A shared goal matters most. I like the team behind China’s Beidou Satellite (卫星) system best. Over 300,000 people worked hard for one shared goal, to build our own satellite system. They came from different places and had different jobs, but they worked together for the same dream. It took them more than 20 years and they met many difficulties. However, they never gave up and finally made it.
When trouble comes, a good leader keeps the team together. Lang Ping, the leader of Chinese women’s volleyball team, is a good example. In 2015, she lost two important players. Many people worried about the team, but she stayed calm and encouraged the players to pull together. The team never stopped trying, and with rich experience she led them to win the World Cup.
I believe it is important to put the team first. In the dance show The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting (《只此青绿》), all dancers put the whole show above themselves. The training was hard and tiring, but they never gave up. No one tried to be the star alone. They all worked as a team to make the show perfect, so it became a great success and touched many people’s hearts.
41. Did the Beidou team give up when they met many difficulties?

Ⅷ. 概要补全。(74和76小题,每小题2分;75和77小题,每小题3分;共10分)
阅读文章,用恰当的短语或句子补全概要,补全部分总词数不超过30词,不能照抄原文连续超过3个词,
Have you ever kept thinking about something you said in class? Have you ever worried about a tiny mistake that everyone else has already forgotten? If so, you may have a bad habit called overthinking.
It is true that thinking carefully about problems is important. However, thinking too much often brings more worry and makes it hard for you to focus on what really matters. People who overthink always think about their past mistakes and worry about what may go wrong in the future. As a result, it takes them a lot of time to worry rather than do anything useful.
Why does this happen? According to psychologists, overthinking usually comes from two wishes: wanting everything to be perfect and trying to control everything. Some people believe that if they prepare for every bad result in their mind, they will not fail. Unluckily, this does not work at all. It uses up their energy and makes them afraid to have a try. Over time, they lose more confidence in themselves.
The good news is that you can change this. First, try “thought labeling”. When you notice your mind going round and round on the same idea, just tell yourself, “This is only a thought, not a fact.” Second, set a “worry timer”. Spend fifteen minutes each day on your worries, and then allow your mind to move on. Little by little, you will find yourself thinking more clearly and feeling peaceful again. By doing so, you can get over overthinking and enjoy your life again.
The passage is mainly about three points: the meaning of overthinking, ____54____. Overthinking is a bad habit of thinking too much. It makes people spend too much time worrying instead of doing something useful. It usually happens because ____55____. Over time, it may make people ____56____. Luckily, by trying “thought labeling” and “worry timer”, ____57____.

According to the survey, students spend 40% of their weekend time playing with mobile phones, but only 15% with their family and 10% doing housework. The problem is that students spend too much time on phones and ignore their family.
To make our home warmer, we should take action. First, we can share housework, like washing dishes, which can help our parents relax. Second, we need to spend more time with our family.
