"Mom!"Tony cried."Look !Just ahead a car had lost control on the patch ofice. As Jenny

Jenny pulled over, stopped and threw open her door.Thank goodness she knew her job

It didn't look good for a team of rescue workers trying to make their way to the Gaza Strip
(加沙地带).The changing environments posed an ever--present threat to their safety and
brought significant barriers on their way to the destination. But this team comprised of
veterinarians()and wildlife experts wouldn't be stopped.Lives depended on it.
The rescuers had set their signts on the Rafah Zoo---an unlikely attraction in the war-torn
region---where dozens of animals were suffering.It was,in fact,the facility's owner,Fathy Jomaa,
who reached out to Four Paws(国际动物保护组织)about giving up the-animals..“It is a tough
decision;I feel like I am losing my family,"Jomaa told Reuters."I have lived with some of those
animals for 20 years, but the war starves the zoo of vital resources. It is time to let them go for a
better place..”
Earlier this week, after days of discussions, hope arrived at the zoo as Eour Paws.decided to
transfer the animals. On April 6,all of the animals were finally loaded onto transport boxes. But
at the border, the transport vehicles had to be changed, which required the animals to be unloaded
and reloaded before finally finishing their journey.
They reached their destination late at night---an animal sanctuary ()about an hour's
drive from Amman, the Jordanian()capital.That's where the animals were finally released,
stretching their legs and being among their own kind. Most will likely remain there, never
worrying about food, comfort and care again.
"No matter where they end up,all of these animals will know something that has always been
out of reach for them:peace. We are looking forward to when these animals will take their first
steps onto grass,"noted Robert Ware, director of Four Paws."That will be the very best ending
for these poor animals. It will be the very best ending for such an international group effort as
well.”

65.Which of the following can be the best title of the text?

Having a talent for hula hooping (could be more down to your body than your skills,
according to a new study trom researchers at New York University (NYU).The researchers ran
tests using robotic hula hoopers with simple body shapes. They were especially interested in what
kinds of body movements and forms could successfully hold the hoop up and what physical
requirements and limitations are related to it.
I The study found that the spinning movement of the robot didn't influence the hula
hooping, but what did have an impact on keeping the hoop lifted for longer was the shape of the
robot used. The most successful robot shapes were those that featured sloping“hips”(倾斜的
臀部)to push the hula hoop up,and a narrow“waist(腰部)”to keep the hoop in place..Soa
pear shape works well, for example. The results might explain why some people are natural
hoopers.
The researchers also looked at how the hula hooping got started. As anyone who has tried to
do it will know, the starting speed is momentous:if it's too slow,or paired with a spinning
movement that's too slow, the hoop simply falls off.
The team produced mathematical models to explain the movements they were seeing and to
broaden the findings to other types or movements. The models could be useful where objects are
moved and controlled without being held. For example, getting robots in position through
movements and using energy from movements in physical systems are two areas where the
physics of hula hooping could inform future research.
"We were surprised that an activity as popular, fun and healthy as hula hooping wasn't
understood even at a basic physics level,"says Leif Ristroph, from NYU."As we made progress
on the research,we realized that the math and physics behind it are very detailed and these
seemingly simple movements and activities can uncover a range of extremely interesting science
if you look closely.”
66.What did the NYU researchers aim to do through their study?
A.Find out the best hula hoopers.
B.Test robots'spinning functions
C.Explore factors enabling hula hooping.D.Study the physics of robotic movements.
67.What mainly determines hula hooping's success according to the study?
A.The speed of spinning movements.
B.The specific structure of the body.
C.The weight and height of the player.D.The advanced spinning skills of the player.
68.What does the underlined word"momentous"in paragraph 3 probably mean?
A.Optional.B.Limited.C.Flexible.D Essential.
69.The examples in paragraph 4 are mentioned to show_
A.the robotic hoopers'energy effectiveness B.the physical benefits of hula hooping
C.the plan for new robot development D.the models'possible applications
70.What can be inferred from Leif's words?
A.Daily activities can hold huge scientific value.
B.Sports science bears difficult physical theories
C.Simple movements lead to a healthy lifestyle.
D.Hula hooping's benefits need more attention.
