范文

Good morning, everyone!

Today I'd like to talk about the person I look up to. Tu Youyou is the outstanding female scientist I admire most. She devoted years to scientific research and fought against one challenge after another. She carried out thousands of experiments and even risked her own health by testing the medicine on herself. Eventually, she discovered a useful kind of medicine that has saved millions of lives across the globe. For this remarkable achievement, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2015. Her spirit has deeply inspired me. I used to give up easily whenever I met difficulties in my study. Now I stick to my goals and try my best to solve problems instead of shrinking away from them. From her, I come to understand that nothing is out of reach so long as we keep pressing ahead.

Thank you for listening!

范文

Role Model's Power

Hello everyone. Today I'm glad to share the role model in my heart. My role model is my mother. Diligent and determined, she never backs down when confronted with hardships. Though occupied with her daily work, she still devotes her spare time to reading for self-improvement. What touches me deeply is her constant positive attitude. Instead of pouring out complaints, she always spares no effort to figure out a way through troubles.

I used to lose heart and give up the moment I failed my exams. Inspired by her, I have transformed a lot. Now I keep trying bravely to carry on whenever challenges pop up. Her deeds convince me that nothing is out of reach as long as I hold firm. I am eager to grow into someone as strong and optimistic as her.

亮点解析

• • Diligent and determined：形容词前置作状语，简洁有力。
• • never backs down when confronted with...：面对……不退缩。
• • spare no effort to...：不遗余力做某事。
• • the moment I failed...：the moment 作连词，意为“一……就”。
