What time is it?  几点了？

It's seven o'clock.  七点了。

▸ 询问时间用 What time is it?，回答用 It's + 时间。

解析：What time is it? 是询问时间的特殊疑问句，it 指时间。回答用 It's + 具体时间，如 It's seven o'clock.。问句和回答中的 it 都不能省略。

一、What time is it? 问法

it 指时间，问句中不能换成 this 或 that。

例句：—What time is it? —It's twelve noon. —现在几点？—正午十二点。

二、It's + 时间 回答

回答以 It's 开头，后面接具体时间。还可以加上 in the UK、in Shanghai 等地点。

例句：—What time is it now? —It's five to eight. —现在几点？—七点五十五分。

例句：—What time is it in Shanghai? —It's seven o'clock in the evening. —上海现在几点？—晚上七点。

⚠ 易错提醒：It's seven o'clock.(√) It seven o'clock.(✗) 回答要有 It's，不能漏掉！

考点 02  整点时间：数字 + o'clock

It's seven o'clock.  七点了。

It's eleven o'clock in the morning.  上午十一点了。

▸ 整点用“数字 + o'clock”表示，o'clock 只用于整点。

解析：o'clock 表示“……点钟”，只能用于整点。It's + 数字 + o'clock. 意为“现在……点了”。不是整点的时间不能用 o'clock。

一、整点表达

例句：It's eleven o'clock. 十一点了。

例句：It's seven o'clock in the evening. 晚上七点。

二、o'clock 只用于整点

half past eleven、ten to four 这些不是整点的时间，不能用 o'clock。

例句：—What time is it? —It's two o'clock. —现在几点？—两点整。

⚠ 易错提醒：seven o'clock(√) seven oclock(✗) o'clock 中有撇号，不能丢！
