Staying Healthy in Winter
Winter is coming, and many students easily get sick at this time of year. Here is some useful advice from Dr. Li, a famous health expert.
First, dress properly. Some young people wear thin clothes to look cool, but catching a cold isnot cool at all. It's smart to wear more layers(层) so that you can take off or put on clothes when the temperature changes.
Second, eat healthily. Winter is a good time to have hot soup and fresh vegetables. Fruit like apples and oranges gives you vitamin C, which helps you fight illnesses. Try to stay away from too much fried food and sugary drinks.
Third, exercise regularly. You may not want to go outside on cold days, but your body still needs movement. Doing indoor exercise such as rope jumping or yoga for thirty minutes a day can keep your heart strong.
Finally, get enough sleep. Staying up late to play games or watch short videos does great harm to your health. Doctors suggest that teenagers should sleep at least eight hours every night.
Remember: health is the most valuable wealth. If you take good care of yourself now, you will thank yourself later.

B
Last Sunday my class visited the City Art Museum. The exhibition was called“EverydayBeauty”.
The first room was full of paintings of very common things: a bowl of noodles, an old bicycle, a pair of worn- out shoes. I asked the artist, Ms Chen, why she painted such ordinary things. She smiled and said,“Ordinary things are where our lives really happen. A painter's job is to help people see them again.”
My favourite work was a large picture of a street market. It was painted in 1998, when Ms Chen was only twenty-three. The colours are bright, and the people in it seem to be moving and talking. You can almost hear the noise of the market. The museum bought the painting in 2005.
In the last room, visitors were invited to draw. Paper and pencils were provided, and there was no right or wrong answer. I drew my grandmother's hands. Ms Chen looked at it for a moment and said,“You have noticed something that many people never notice.”
On the bus back to school, I kept thinking about her words. Art is not only in museums. It is in a bowl of noodles, in a pair of hands, in the street where you grow up. We just need to slow down and look.
