如 Passage 1 题 6 填 importance(important → 名词),Passage 3 题 1 填 warmer(warm → 比较级)。
如 Passage 4 题 3 填 free(for free),Passage 8 题 1 填 least(at least)。
如 Passage 8 题 1 填 least(at least “至少”),Passage 1 题 1 填 stay(留在湿地)。
如 Passage 5 题 3 填 rises(一般现在时),Passage 7 题 3 填 noticed(一般过去时)。
【点拨1】词形转换看句法成分——以 Passage 1 题 6 为例:原文写道“Many volunteers also work hard to tell people the i 6 of wetland protection.”,空处位于 the 之后、of 之前,需要名词形式。
【点拨2】固定搭配不可拆——以 Passage 8 题 1 为例:原文写道“Each volunteer works for at l 1 one day.”,说每名志愿者至少工作一天。 提醒:首字母填空中固定搭配出现频率极高(at least / in danger / take care of 等),看到首字母先想搭配。
【点拨3】词性判断——以 Passage 2 题 2 为例:原文写道“So wild animals may lose their h 2 .”,空处位于 their 之后、谓语 lose 之后,形容词性物主代词(their)后必接名词作宾语,首字母 h,homes(家园)符合语境,故填 homes。提醒:形容词性物主代词(their/our/his)后必接名词。
【点拨4】上下文语义推断——以 Passage 1 题 1 为例:原文写道“Every year, many migratory birds s 1 in wetlands when they move from north to south for winter.”,说每年许多候鸟在迁徙途中停留在湿地。
【点拨5】逻辑关系词——以 Passage 1 题 9 为例:原文写道“I 9 we don’t take action now, we may lose these beautiful wetlands forever.”,说如果我们现在不采取行动,就会永远失去这些美丽的湿地。
【点拨6】动词时态——以 Passage 5 题 3 为例:原文写道“If they can’t get back into the water before the sun r 3 , they will die in the sun.”,说海星若赶在太阳升起前回到水里就不会晒死。
【点拨7】名词单复数——以 Passage 6 题 1 为例:原文写道“Animals play so many important r 1 in our lives.”,空处首字母 r,固定搭配 play roles(扮演角色),many 修饰可数名词复数,故填 roles。提醒:看到 many / several / a few / two 等修饰词,名词必须用复数形式。
忽略固定搭配——首字母填空中固定搭配占比很高(at least / in danger / play a role 等),看到首字母先想搭配。
Passage 1
Wetlands are important homes for many kinds of birds and animals. Every year, many migratory birds s 1 in wetlands when they move from north to south for winter.
Wetlands p 2 rich food and safe living places for these birds. But now, wetlands are in d 3 . People fill in wetlands to make more space for farms and buildings. Also, water p 4 makes the wetland environment worse and worse.
To protect wetlands, our country has made l 5 to stop people from filling in wetlands. Many volunteers also work hard to tell people the i 6 of wetland protection.
Every year on World Wetlands Day, people hold different activities to r 7 money for wetland protection. More and more people j 8 the volunteer groups.
We all know that wetlands are the “kidneys of the earth”. I 9 we don’t take action now, we may lose these beautiful wetlands forever. Protecting wetlands is protecting o 10 .
Passage 2
Wild animals are our friends. But now many of them are in d 1 . There are many reasons.
First, people take too much land. They cut down forests for farms and buildings. So wild animals may lose their h 2 . Second, pollution is a big problem. Air pollution and water p 3 make it hard for animals to live healthy lives. Third, people h 4 wild animals for their fur, horns or meat.
But we can do something to help. Governments can make l 5 to stop hunting. They can also set up more nature r 6 for wild animals. As students, we can do something too. We should never eat wild animals. We should not buy things m 7 of wild animals’ fur or skin. We can also j 8 animal protection clubs to help more.
Wild animals are important to us. We live on the s 9 earth. We should live in peace with them. If everyone does something to help, wild animals will have a b 10 future.
Passage 3
Winter is cold and long. Some animals have their special ways to spend the winter.
Some animals migrate before winter. They move to w 1 places to find enough food. For example, swallows fly to the south in autumn and come back in spring. Caribou travel over 2,000 miles to spend their winter.
Some animals hibernate for the whole winter. They eat a lot before winter to build up f 2 . Then they sleep in their homes without eating or d 3 . Their hearts beat slowly and their body temperature drops. Bears and snakes are h 4 animals.
Some animals change their fur in winter. For example, snowshoe rabbits change their fur c 5 from brown to white. It helps them hide in the snow. They also grow thicker fur to keep w 6 .
Animals are really c 7 . They have their own ways to get through the cold winter. We should protect their l 8 and make sure they have enough food and s 9 to live in. If we try our best, we can live in h 10 with wild animals.
Passage 4
“This is an e 1 day for Zoo Atlanta and a special moment for Atlanta City, Georgia and more places. We are so happy to welcome Ping Ping and Fu Shuang.”
The two pandas got to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on September 27, 2026. They took a special Boeing 777 plane c 2 “FedEx Panda Express”. FedEx offered this flight for f 3 .
Then the pandas went to Zoo Atlanta. They will stay in a safe special a 4 inside the zoo’s new panda home. They need to go through a usual one-month h 5 check.
“We have got e 6 ready for Ping Ping and FuShuang for a long time. We i 7 their living place. We built bigger rooms with great lights and good floors. All these help the pandas live h 8 ,” said Gina Ferrie. She is the zoo’s leader for animal care and research, and she spoke to Xinhua News.
Atlanta’s weather is m 9 like Chengdu’s. The zoo can get many kinds of fresh bamboo nearby all year to f 10 the two pandas.
China and the zoo have finished over 30 research plans. They wrote more than 50 research articles. They made many new discoveries in panda baby care, panda behaviour and illness control.
Passage 5
A man is taking an early morning walk on the beach. The wind is soft and the air is f 1 .
H 2 of beautiful starfish (海星) are on the beach. The morning tide (潮汐) brought them here. If they can’t get back into the water before the sun r 3 , they will die in the sun.
The man takes a few steps, picks up one starfish and throws it into the water. He keeps on doing this. There is a 4 person not far behind him. She stands there and watches the man for a few minutes but can’t u 5 .
She c 6 up with the man and asks, “What are you doing?”
“I am t 7 to help these starfish. If I don’t do this, they will die in a short time,” answers the man.
“There are plenty of starfish on the beach. How many can you help?”
This man doesn’t answer. He takes m 8 steps, picks up another one, throws it into the water, and says, “I don’t know how many I can help, but I help this one.”
There are so many animals or people in n 9 of help in the world. It is i 10 for one person to help them all. But if everyone helps one or two, we can help many.
Passage 6
Animals play so many important r 1 in our lives. Some animals, like cows and sheep, p 2 us with food. Pets are our friends. Other animals work for us. Above all, every animal can fill us with a s 3 of wonder of the natural world.
Unluckily, we don’t always value this. Many animals are in d 4 because of our actions. And m 5 of animals in the world are badly treated. World Animal Day reminds us at least one day a year to celebrate animal life in all its forms.
World Animal Day was started in 1931 in Florence, Italy. It made us pay a 6 to the problem of endangered animals around the world. It is now celebrated in most countries around the world. The day falls on October 4th every year. On this day, volunteers r 7 money for animal centres and social organizations. Museums and zoos organize special e 8 . Schools have also joined animal projects. No matter what is done, the idea is to tell us the i 9 of animals and to show us how we could improve our relationship with animals.
If you want to take part, you could help an animal or organize an event for a local charity. The important thing is just taking an a 10 part. We should offer animals as much as they offer us.
Passage 7
Have you ever heard of the friendship among animals? In the zoo in Germany, an u 1 friendship is developed between a cat and a bear. Lots of visitors can’t b 2 their eyes!
No one is quite sure how the friendship first began. One day, some workers in the zoo n 3 a black cat was in the bear’s cage and the two animals were playing together peacefully. They didn’t feel a 4 of each other at all! It was amazing to see how well the small cat seemed to get along w 5 the large bear. And later the pair and their unusual friendship became a hot topic in the zoo. More and more visitors p 6 special attention to them.
After several years, a new cage was built for the bear. However, the cat was s 7 in the same cage, so it walked around angrily and cried to be with the bear. F 8 , the bear keeper took pity on the cat and let it stay with the bear. The cat and the bear got c 9 than before. They often sat together and shared meals in the sun with each other.
Sometimes it is quite natural for animals to have their own i 10 about who would be a good friend. These may surprise humans, who usually expect animals to form relationships with others of the same species.
Passage 8
In the summer holiday, Wen Jiayi made a good friend. The good friend is not a person, but a panda! His name is Jingke. Wen spent three days with him, learning how he ate, slept and played.
Wen worked as a volunteer at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan. Every year, volunteers go to the nature reserve to take care of its pandas. People aged 12-65 can apply for (申请) the volunteer programme. Each volunteer works for at l 1 one day.
Wen cleaned the panda’s home every morning while she was volunteering. “We have to c 2 the pandas’ excrement (粪便), as it can tell us what the pandas have been eating and whether they are h 3 or not,” she said, “The panda keepers analyse (分析) the excrement every day.”
Wen got to do this as w 4 . She c 5 analysed the excrement. “We check what is in the excrement and what colour it is. For example, if it is g 6 , it means that panda has been eating bamboo leaves.” she said.
The experience also helped the volunteers better u 7 pandas. When Wen fed Jingke, she touched his fur. “It is not s 8 , but hard. It is like touching needles (针)!” Wen said.
Another volunteer Liang Tingyu found that the pandas were not only cute but also d 9 . “Their teeth and claws are so sharp (尖锐的). Pandas like to be left alone. They may f 10 with others to protect their home.” Liang said.

1.danger 2.homes 3.pollution 4.hunt 5.laws 6.reserves 7.made 8.join 9.same 10.bright/better

首先语法上,并列结构without eating or ...
根据“we can live in h…with”可知,in harmony with“与……
