A
My grandpa has Alzheimer's disease. He often forgets small things—where he puts his glasses, what he ate for breakfast, even how to get home sometimes. His memory fades like a misty morning, and it breaks my heart to see him struggle to recognize familiar faces or recall happy moments we shared,But there's one thing he never forgets;my favourite food, sweet red bean buns(小餐包).
Every time I visit him at the nursing home,he always holds a warm red bean bun in his shaky(颤抖的) hand and says,"For you,my boy.I know you love these,"No matter how confused(糊涂的) he is, no matter who else he can't remember,he keeps this little detail close to his heart. My mom says he used to make these buns for me every weekend when I was little, standing in the kitchen for hours just to get the sweetness right.
That bun is more than just food. It's his love, sealed in memory even when his mind is lost.It tells me that some love is too deep to be erased(被擦除) by illness, too precious to fade away(逐渐消失).Even when the world becomes blurry(模糊不清的) to him,his love for me stays clear and bright.
