The cultural landscape is considered as an excellent example of well-protected and culturally rich ancient tea forests. It shows local people's wisdom to know, respect and make use of nature. It was created by the ancestors (祖先) of the Blang people and the Dai people. It's said that the Blang people moved to Jingmai Mountain in the 10th century AD and found some wild tea trees there. With a lot of practice, people there developed their own way to grow great tea.

Sand is eight steps away. That was how Babusha got its name: “Babu” means eight steps in Chinese and “sha” means sand. In the past, Babusha often suffered from sandstorms, which buried the farmland, often leaving nothing to harvest in Gulang County, Northwest China’s Gansu Province.
Today, Babusha is no longer under the influence of the sand: After three generations’ efforts, the vegetation coverage rate (植被覆盖率) has increased to 70% from less than 3% in the 1980s.
The war began with “six old men” who spent their lives fighting the desert. At present, Guo Wangang is the head of Babusha Forest Farm. His father, Guo Chaoming, was one of the six men who first began planting trees here in 1981. When his father was forced to stop because of poor health, he hoped Guo would follow in his footsteps. But Guo didn’t want to give up his job at first.
However, a terrible sandstorm in 1993 changed Guo's mind forever. A fast-moving brown wall of sand turned day into night. Guo learned that 18 students were found dead in a river as they tried to get home from school during the sandstorm. “I asked myself then that if we couldn’t protect our farmland or our children, how were we supposed to keep going?” Guo recalled. “That was the moment I decided to join the fight.”
Year after year, Guo and his workmates have continued to plant trees each spring and fall. Thanks to their efforts, a green belt of 8km by 10km has been built. The desert is no longer able to move further south.
The third generation has joined the group, starting with GuoXi,the grandson of Guo Chaoming. He is making Babusha known to youngsters through social media (媒体).“Babusha was a desert. Now it's green.I hope more people know about it," he said.

The Feynman Technique (费曼学习法)is a study method that helps students learn by teaching others. Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman developed it many years ago.
The Feynman Technique has been one of the most useful study methods for many years. For one thing, it helps students really understand something instead of just remembering information. Besides, instead of reading textbooks or reviewing notes like other methods, it pushes students to actively take part in the learning process.
If you want to use the Feynman Technique to study better, follow these steps. To begin with, choose a topic you want to learn, including sub-topics (主题). If not, you’ll jump between topics without developing a deeper understanding of any of them.
The second step is the heart of the Feynman Technique: explaining the topic simply enough so that a sixth-grade student can understand it. You should help the child understand by using the simplest and clearest language. This step helps divide indigestible topics into their most basic parts.
Next, review your words and try to find any area where you felt that you couldn't explain the topic simply. It can be very helpful to get advice from someone whose understanding is similar to that of a sixth-grade student.
The fourth step is to improve your words using the information that you get from the third step. Finally, repeat the steps. The Feynman Technique works best with repeating, and that is why taking the above steps just once is usually not enough to fully understand the topic.
The last step is that once you're confident you've learnt the topic, it's time to give yourself a prize. Perhaps, like me, enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
36. Why is the Feynman Technique better than other methods?
A. Because it saves students' study time.
B. Because it allows students to study in groups.
C. Because it helps students collect more information.
D. Because it encourages students to do active learning.
37. What does the underlined word "indigestible" in Paragraph 4 mean?
A. 有趣的
B. 小的
C. 简单的
D. 困难的
38. Who can you get suggestions from according to the third step?
A. Your parents B. A 12-year-old girl C. Your teachers D. An expert in learning
39. Which of the following is the correct order for the Feynman Technique?
①Pick a topic to learn.
②Improve the weak areas.
③Explain it in simplest words.
④Repeat the steps until you really learn it.
⑤Find the weak part of your words.
A.①→③→⑤→②→④ B.① →⑤→②→③→④
C. ③→⑤→②→④→① D.⑤→②→①→③→④
40. What is the structure of the text?
A.①/② ③/④
