基础任务（人人过关，10分钟）

1. 词汇跟读：跟读并记忆下列单词（注意斜线部分的读音）。

2. 短语速记连线：将左栏英文与右栏中文配对（写序号）。

3. 语言小贴士（考点归纳）。

① take place 发生；举行（不及物，无被动语态）：The competition will take place on 23rd September.（比赛将于 9 月 23 日举行。）

② 一般将来时的被动语态：will be + 过去分词。The final round will be held on 23rd September. / Each speaker will be asked questions by the judges. / The final result will be announced at the end of the competition.

③ compete vi. 竞争；参加比赛，competition n. 比赛，competitor n. 参赛者；compete for 为……而竞争：Ten speakers will compete for the title of best speaker.

④ 含情态动词的被动语态：can / must / should + be + 过去分词，如 Great attention should be paid to your pronunciation during the competition.（比赛中应注意你的发音。）

⑤ be welcome to do sth. 欢迎做某事：All students are welcome to come and watch.（欢迎全体同学前来观看。）

⑥ 主动变被动（复习第 14 页）：A video about today’s activity will be made by my friend. / It will be shut down by itself.（主动变被动时，宾语提前作主语，动词变为“be + 过去分词”。）

⑦ announce vt. 宣布；通知，announcement n. 通知；公告：The final result will be announced at the end of the competition.

⑧ sign up (for) 报名参加：If you want to come, visit the school website and sign up for a seat.（如想来观看，请访问学校网站报名预留座位。）

⑨ judge n. 裁判员；评委，vt. 判断；judgement n. 判断：The winners will be chosen by several experienced judges.（获奖者将由几位经验丰富的评委选出。）

⑩ 通知的格式要素：标题 NOTICE、信息栏（Time / Place）、正文（总述活动—细节安排—参与方式）、署名与日期，信息要准确、语气要得体。

⑪ “介词 + 名词”作后置定语：a notice about a school event（一则关于学校活动的通知），注意 about 短语修饰前面的名词 notice。

⑫ It will be very exciting! 用来调动读者期待；写通知可先说明活动概况，再补充细节，最后给出参与方式。
