重难点 01：be 动词的一般过去时 was / were

解析：谈论过去的状态或事情，be 动词要变成过去式：

　　am / is → was　　are → were

记忆口诀：单数 was，复数 were。

例如：Su Hai was afraid of acting in front of many people. 苏海害怕在很多人面前表演。(P14)

There were a lot of words in the play. 剧里有很多台词。(P13)

💡注意：there be 句型中，be 与后面的名词保持“就近一致”：There was a bird.　There were two boxes.

重难点 02：实义动词的一般过去时（规则变化）

解析：一般过去时表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。大多数动词的过去式在词尾加 -ed。

规则变化四种：

① 直接加 -ed：ask→asked, want→wanted, remember→remembered

② 以 e 结尾加 -d：use→used, live→lived, practise→practised

③ 辅音字母 + y 结尾，变 y 为 i 加 -ed：study→studied, cry→cried

④ 重读闭音节结尾，双写尾字母加 -ed：stop→stopped

💡注意：every day 用一般现在时；two weeks ago / yesterday / last week 用一般过去时。
