一、学习准备

你已经在高一学过基本的身体部位和伤病词汇，但真遇到紧急情况，你知道打急救电话该说什么、接线员会问什么吗？武汉夏天热，东湖、长江边游泳溺水、中老人心脑血管意外多发，你对急救话题有切身感受，但用英语描述紧急状况、听懂祈使句指令可能还不够熟练。

二、学习目标

1. 能听懂一段 999 急救电话，抓住地址、患者状况、接线员指令等关键信息。

2. 能识别接线员常用的祈使句指令和顺序连接词（first / next / then / after that / finally）。

3. 能用英语打急救电话描述现场状况，听懂接线员的急救指令。

三、学习重难点

学习重点（听）：抓三个细节问题答案和六步指令排序。

学习重点（说）：用紧急电话句型描述状况、回答接线员问题。

学习难点（祈使句）：在紧张情境下听懂并执行英语祈使句指令。

学习难点（口语）：不慌，能用英语把现场情况说清楚。

四、Learning Procedure（共45分钟）

Lead-in  Wuhan Summer Emergency  （5 min）

Work in pairs. Discuss.

1. What would you do first if you saw someone drowning at East Lake?

2. What is the emergency number in China? What about the UK? the US?

3. Who would you call first — 120, 110, or 119?

★ Today's task: Imagine you are at East Lake in Wuhan. Someone has just been pulled out of the water and is not breathing. Your group will act out a 120 emergency call. First, let's listen to a boy in England calling 999 for his grandfather.

Part Ⅰ  Pre-listening & Numbers  （7 min）

Before listening, match the country with its emergency number.

★ Strategy box: When you hear an emergency call, listen for three things: WHERE the caller is, WHAT is wrong, and WHAT instructions the operator gives.

Part Ⅱ  While-listening: Detail Questions  （12 min）

Listen to the 999 call and answer.

1. Why did the boy call 999?

2. Who else was in the room with the boy and his grandfather?

3. How did the boy describe the old man's condition?

Then complete the table:

Part Ⅲ  While-listening: Order the Instructions  （8 min）

Listen again and number the operator's instructions 1—6.
