For hundreds of years, this special art has been passed down from one person to another. Today, people can see this traditional art in ancient streets and markets, especially in Sichuan Province. Do you want to know what astronauts’ life is like in space? It is very different from life on Earth.
First, let’s talk about their sleep. There is no up or down in space. If astronauts do not use special sleeping bags, they will float everywhere. So they sleep inside sleeping bags. The bags are fixed to the wall. This keeps them from flying around.
Eating is also not easy. Food does not stay on plates. Without gravity (重力), small pieces of food can fly away. Most space food is soft. Astronauts eat from bags. They have to be careful, or small bits may get into their noses or eyes.
Astronauts also need to keep clean. They can’t take showers. Water will float, too. They use wet cloths to wash their bodies.
Though space life is hard, astronauts love their jobs. They do science experiments and help us learn more about space. Many of them hope to take more trips into space.
45. What is the main idea of Paragraph 2?
A. Where astronauts work. B. Why astronauts feel tired.
C. When astronauts go to bed. D. How astronauts sleep in space.
46. What does the underlined word “fixed” mean in Paragraph 2?
A. 松开 B. 固定 C. 翻动 D. 悬挂
47. What can we learn from the text?
A. No astronauts want to work in space.
B. Small pieces of food may float in space.
C. Astronauts can eat all kinds of food on plates.
D. Astronauts can take hot showers in space.

Many people think failure means losing. But a new study tells us a different idea: There is no end. Either we succeed or learn something valuable.
Scientists did a simple experiment. They asked two groups of students to finish difficult tasks. Group A was told, “If you fail, you are bad at this.” Group B got this message: “You do not fail. Either you achieve success, or you get new experience.”
The result surprised the researchers. Group B kept trying longer. They were braver when meeting difficulties. When things went wrong, they did not give up easily. They believed every try could bring them new lessons.
Why does this happen? Positive self-talk (自我暗示) changes our way of thinking. If we tell ourselves “I can learn from this”, our brain will see mistakes as chances, not failures. It helps us keep confident and keep moving forward.
This finding has great meaning for students. We may not get good grades every time. But as long as we learn from the experience, we can get something important. Every try is helpful on our way to growth.
48. What is the new idea from the study?
A. Failure means we lose everything.
B. We should avoid making any mistakes.
C. We either succeed or get valuable lessons.
D. Most students are afraid of making mistakes.
49. What does the underlined word “experiment” in Paragraph 2 refer to (指代)?
A. The mistakes students made.
B. The message given to Group A.
C. The final success of students.
D. The study with two groups of students.
50. What is the main idea of the last paragraph?
A. Why people are afraid of failing exams.
B. How mistakes help scientists do studies.
C. The ways of getting good grades at school.
D. The importance of this finding for students.

固定句型“It takes/took sb. some time to do sth.”,意为“做某事花费某人多少时间”,其中it是形式主语,动词不定式是真正的主语。故填to put。
根据时间状语so far(到目前为止)可知,句子应用现在完成时 (have/has done),主语he是第三人称单数,助动词用has,get的过去分词为got/gotten。故填has got/has gotten。

例句
A True Friend
Last week, I had an argument with my best friend. We were both angry and didn't talk to each other for a whole day. I felt very upset and lonely.
The next day, I decided to say sorry first. I went to him and explained that I didn't mean to hurt him. To my surprise, he also said sorry to me. We smiled and understood each other. We agreed to share our feelings honestly next time.
From this experience, I learned that understanding and kindness are very important in friendship. True friends always forgive each other. A simple "sorry" can make our friendship stronger.
