Everyone has a growing-up journey. Mine is full of changes, challenges and happiness. Iused to be a little boy who was afraid of everything. I depended on my parents for food, clothes and even study. I was too shy to make friends and always stayed alone. I thought growing up was a terrible thing, because it meant I had to take more responsibility(责任).

When I was 13 years old, my parents sent me to a boarding school. At first, I was very sad and lonely. I couldn't take care of myself. I didn't know how to wash my clothes or make my bed. I even cried every night. But my teacher and roommates helped me a lot. They taught me how to do housework and encouraged me to make friends.

With their help, I slowly changed. I learned to take care of myself and became more independent. I made many good friends and started to enjoy my school life. I also developed a good habit of studying hard. I realized that growing up is not terrible. It is a process of learning
