Forrest Gump
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, Forrest Gump is an American film adapted from Winston Groom’s novel, with Tom Hanks taking the leading role. At the 67th Academy Awards in 1995, the film took home six major awards.
The story follows Forrest Gump, a man born with a lower IQ but a warm, determined heart. Against all odds, he achieves extraordinary success: becoming a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire.
This film is full of warmth and kindness. It clearly tells us how important it is to stay positive in life—we should keep going even when things get hard. Its lively, easy-to-remember lines also make it more attractive and touching.
Forrest Gump is a highly inspirational masterpiece that leaves a lasting impression. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

My Favorite Movie
The movie I adore most is The Million Pound Bank Note, which is based upon a story by Mark Twain.
In the movie, Henry Adams, the main character, landed in England by accident with no money or friends. By chance, he is made the subject of a bet by two wealthy brothers on whether someone could live in London for a month with a million pound bank note. With the large bank note, Henry finds that people’s attitudes towards him change greatly. The film, with excellent acting, beautiful music and interesting plots, is a real success.
I liked the play because of some exciting twists and turns. I also learned that success is not measured by how much money you have. It is totally worth seeing.

The Wandering Earth II
Directed by Guo Fan and adapted from Liu Cixin’s novel, The Wandering Earth II shines as a remarkable science fiction film.
Set in the sun crisis with Earth on the brink of destruction, the film shows how humans try to build thousands of earth engines to save the Earth. The film powerfully echoes Martin Luther King’s words: “We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.” Facing the common threat, conflicts give way to cooperation, highlighting the strength of global unity. After all, no single hero can shoulder the weight of saving the Earth alone
In my eyes, the movie serves as a wake-up call, inspiring joint efforts for a sustainable future. All things considered, the Wandering Earth II must be one of the most splendid films ever made.
