【设计说明】本课对话由 Danny 的三个问题统领：What's the capital city of your country? What languages do you speak? What does your country's flag look like? 四位孩子依次答出四国名片——中国：Beijing is the capital city of China. In China, we speak Chinese. The flag of my country is red. It has five yellow stars.；加拿大：The capital city of Canada is Ottawa. In Canada, people speak English and French.；美国：Washington, D.C. is the capital city of the US. People speak English in my country.；英国：London is the capital city of the UK. In the UK, people speak English, too.。课本 Read, write 给出 Country / Capital city / Language / Flag 四栏表。据此设计“国家名片发布会”：学生当“信息采集员”，按三问采集四国信息制成《国家名片》（四栏），再上台发布名片、互相用三问“验卡”；capital city、speak + 语言、flag 的 has 结构在“采集—发布—验卡”中反复落实。

一、教学目标

完成本课学习后，学生能够：

1. 听懂、认读并说出核心词汇 capital city, Beijing, Ottawa, Washington, D.C., London, speak, language(s), Chinese, English, French, flag, star 及表达 What's the capital city of ...?。

2. 读懂对话，完成《国家名片》四栏：China—Beijing / Chinese / 红旗五颗黄星；Canada—Ottawa / English and French / 枫叶旗；the US—Washington, D.C. / English / 星条旗；the UK—London / English / 米字旗。

3. 运用三问 What's the capital city of your country? / What languages do you speak? / What does your country's flag look like? 采集并发布国家信息。

4. 完成课本 Read, write 四栏填空，比较四国的异同，感受各国国旗与语言文化的多样性。

二、教学重难点

重点：读懂对话；正确运用 capital city 句型与 speak + 语言表达；四国首都名称的认读。

难点：① capital city 的含义（区别于 country）；② speak Chinese / English and French 中 speak 后接语言（对比 say）；③ The flag ... is red. It has five yellow stars. 中 has 的三单与 stars 的复数；④ Washington, D.C. 的读音。
