3. 语法小贴士（本课语言重点）：

① population 的用法：作“（某地的）人口”解时常用 the population of ...；作“（某类生物的）种群”解时可数。例：The lakes and rivers in the Whitemud Creek area support a healthy population of fish.（怀特穆德溪地区的湖泊和河流维持着健康的鱼类种群。）

② seek 的用法：意为“寻找；试图”，过去式、过去分词均为 sought。常见搭配 seek to do sth.（试图做某事）、seek sb./sth.（寻找）。例：We are seeking several two-person teams to help our centre.（我们正在招募几个两人小组来帮助我们中心。）

③ include 与 including 的区别：include 是动词，including 是介词。例：Duties include meeting the public.（职责包括接待公众。）/ Volunteers do many jobs, including cleaning.（志愿者做很多工作，包括清洁。）

④ lead 的用法：意为“带领；通往”，过去式、过去分词均为 led。例：Volunteers will help our staff lead tours and field trips.（志愿者将协助我们的员工带领参观和实地考察。）

⑤ as well as 的用法：意为“以及；和”，连接并列成分。例：Volunteers will plan and prepare special events, workshops, and other programs as well as help the staff.（志愿者将策划和筹备特别活动、工作坊及其他项目，并协助员工工作。）

⑥ 本课重点搭配：care for（照顾；照料）、a plus（一个额外优势）、meet and greet the public（接待公众）、field phone calls（接听电话）、operate the gift shop（经营礼品店）、be interested in（对……感兴趣）、apply for（申请）。
