3. 语法小贴士（本课语言重点 · 一般将来时、不定式作表语、条件状语从句）：

① 一般将来时：表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态，由“will + 动词原形”或“be going to + 动词原形”构成。例：I am going to volunteer at the library.（我打算在图书馆做志愿服务。）I will read storybooks to kids.（我要给孩子们读故事书。）

② 动词不定式（短语）作表语：位于系动词 be 之后，用来说明主语的内容。例：The main purpose of volunteering is to help others and make our community a better place.（to help others 与 make our community a better place 是并列的不定式短语作表语。）

③ if 引导的条件状语从句（主将从现）：if 意为“如果”，引导条件状语从句；主句用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时。例：If you like animals, you can help care for pets at an animal shelter.

④ 动名词短语作主语，谓语动词用单数。例：Helping others sounds like a lot of fun.（动名词短语 Helping others 作主语，谓语用单数 sounds。）

⑤ look up 的用法：look up 是“动词 + 副词”结构的短语，意为“查寻、查阅”，代词作宾语时放在 look 与 up 中间。例：I looked it up on the internet!（我在网上查到的！）

⑥ 本课重点搭配：volunteer at the library（在图书馆做志愿服务）、read storybooks to kids（给孩子们读故事书）、help out（帮忙）、once a week（每周一次）、care for（照顾）、help sb. with sth.（在某方面帮助某人）、try one's hand at（尝试做）、sound like（听起来像）。
