3. 语法小贴士（本课语言重点 · spend 的用法、be responsible for、make a difference）：

① spend + 时间/金钱 + on sth. / (in) doing sth.：表示“在某事/做某事上花费时间或金钱”。例：You only need to spend one or two hours a week on lesson preparation.（你每周只需花一两个小时备课。）

② be responsible for：意为“对……负责”，后接名词、代词或动名词。例：You will be responsible for answering questions and providing information for donors.（你将负责回答捐赠者的问题并为他们提供信息。）

③ make a difference：意为“产生影响；起作用；带来改变”，常用 make a difference in sth.。例：Join our program and make a difference in their lives.（加入我们的项目，改变他们的生活。）

④ join 的用法辨析：join 指加入某个组织、团体（join the army / join us）；join in 指参加正在进行的活动（join in the game）；take part in 指参加活动并在其中发挥作用（take part in a competition）。

⑤ provide sth. for sb. = provide sb. with sth.（为某人提供某物）；prepare sth. for sb.（为某人准备某物）。例：You will prepare food for the pandas.（你将给熊猫准备食物。）

⑥ 本课重点搭配：check out（查看；看一看）、get close to（靠近；接近）、be part of（是……的一部分）、give information about sth. to sb.（向某人介绍关于某事的信息）、apply online（在线申请）、scan the QR code（扫描二维码）。
