As Daddy's only daughter, I knew what made my Daddy more wonderful than all the other fathers––his large hands.

Daddy had long smart fingers(手指)that could make lots of paper toys for me. His hands could repaint a second-hand bike to make it look new. I got one on my tenth birthday. His hands could also cook a delicious meal in minutes.

Daddy's creative hands were also useful and hard-working. They could fly a kite high in the sky as well as get it down from the top of a tree. They could also wash my white dress clean. To my surprise, those hands fed three children on his own after Mum died. It was his feelings that showed who he really was, far more than his abilities.

Not only were Daddy's hands great, they could also send me a note full of love. When I was sick, he would take a small blanket(毯子) and cover it around my small cold feet with his loving hands. They seemed to understand I was feeling terrible before I could cry. When I was stressed out(焦虑的), Daddy would often hand me a cup of hot milk and sit next to me. He would say,“The best is always to come, my dear.”

The more I read Daddy's hands, the more stories I got from them. Daddy's hands were fantastic. They had the power to move mountains and they could make the impossible(不可能的) possible.
