US national parks aren't dog-friendly;while we knew this was the case for some parks,we
had heard it varied from park to park.My husband,Mitchell, and I are always on the lookout for
dog-friendly options at each national park.We have been to quite a few national parks now and in
general,.the rule is that dogs must always be on a leash(用狗绳拴住)and stay on paved(铺好的)
path areas,,no hiking trails(小径).
Yosemite was probably one of the more dog-friendly national parks we've been to as there
was a longer paved bike trail in addition to a few shorter paved pathways that were dog-friendly.
However, the hiking trails were still a no-go.For this reason,we haven't spent as much time in
Yosemite National Park and instead have enjoyed the state parks and national forest that surrounds
them.
Dog-friendliness aside,we have not for a second regretted visiting a national park and
Yosemite was no exception. You must visit Yosemite if you ever get the chance. There were truly
beautiful mountains and even though Mitchell and I grew up in the shadow of (...the
Rockies we were completely impressed by this new landscape. We were fortunate to visit in the
fall which had the added benefit of the beautiful colors and fewer people! The landscape easily
looked like it could be a painting.
After Yosemite,we had originally planned to make our way to Death Valley. After some
discussion,we decided to take a little detour and visit Lake Tahoe. The lake was beautiful and
there seemed to be signs everywhere for ski hills and endless outdoor activities. We ended up
staying for two days at the Zephyr Cove RV Park and Resort. We were able to wash clothes on site,
shower and even use their Wi-Fi to catch up on work.We had ended up traveling farther than we
planned each day and it was nice to recharge and stay in one place a little longer. We've come to
the conclusion we're still working on slowing down.
24.What is the rule for dogs in US national parks?
A.They are allowed on all trails in dog-friendly parks.
B.They are allowed on hiking areas in certain parks.
C.They are permitted to be off-leash.
D.They are limited to paved areas.
25.Why does the author mention the Rockies?
A.To stress the beauty of Yosemite.
B.To express her desire to visit the Rockies.
C.To describe the breathtaking landscape of her hometown.
D.To show the differences between the Rockies and Yosemite.

Isabella Ducrot,an Italian artist born in 1931,is becoming internationally famous for her art
only recently, even though she didn't start creating it until she was in her fifties.
Ducrot creates her art by standing and sweeping loose stroke of ink or paint onto paper or
fabric(),sometimes using a brush attached to a stick. She often adds pieces of other papers or
fabrics to create pictures. Her works, typically made in series, feature joyful figures, simple
landscapes, and repeating patterns like ovals (and squares.Full of life, color, and a sense of
freedom, her art feels so fresh and energetic that a museum in France has called her,in a surprising
way,"a young artist with a young career."
Ducrot's art is deeply rooted in her life experiences. For years, she and her late husband ran a
luxury travel business, journeying from India to Afghanistan and gathering a unique collection of
rare textiles ()These experiences and materials now provide both the physical and
conceptual foundation for her work. She brings importance to humble clothes--the kind "used to
protect, wrap, wash and care for the body"--by incorporating (them into her art, making us
reconsider the boundaries between fine art and the art of everyday life.
Her late success strongly goes against common ideas about older people, especially older
women. As one expert points out,we often give older women "the unclear, and often fading,
quality of wisdom,"meaning their creative and personal growth has stopped.Ducrot's clearly
emotional work shows this is not true."I think life, for women, begins at sixty,"she says.
"Because then we begin to be free."
In her Roman palazzo,Isabella Ducrot continues her daily work, watching as the figures in
her "Tenderness"series slowly emerge from the cloth.Just like her art,her own life is a
masterpiece that is still unfolding. With each brushstroke she paints and piece of fabric she adds,
she shows us a simple truth:even in life's later years, creativity can not only survive but blossom
with unexpected freedom and power.
28.What can we know about Ducrot's art?
A.It is created using digital tools and software.
B.It features repetitive patterns and mixed materials.
共8页,第3页
C.It creates a sense of calm and peacefulness.
D.It shows complex historical scenes
29.What can be inferred from paragraph 3?
A.Her travels provided artistic inspiration.
B.She believes everyday fabrics are unworthy
C.Her art is mainly based on imagination.
D.She keeps art separate from daily life.
30.Which of the following can best describe Ducrot?
A.Traditional and reserved
B.Creative and free
C.determined and imaginative
D.Energetic and generous
31.What message does Ducrot's story convey?
A.Where there's a will,there is a way.
B.Actions speak louder than words.
C.It's never too late to start a new chapter in life
D.Ajourney of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Stella Juva,dubbed the world's first solar-powered ambulance,is more than a traditional
emergency vehicle. Some observers even note it functions chiefly as a mobile health clinic rather
than a typical ambulance for patient transport.
Developed by 23 engineering students of Solar Team Eindhoven from Eindhoven University
of Technology in the Netherlands, this prototype is designed for off-grid remote regions, where
millions lack fuel, stable electricity and accessible medical services.Instead of rushing patients to
hospitals,it brings medical services straight to these underserved communities.
Built with aerospace-grade carbon-fiber-composite materials,the vehicle weighs only 1,350
kg,less than half the weight of a standard ambulance. Its teardrop-shaped body reduces wind
resistance.Equipped with high-efficiency solar cells and a 50-kWh battery pack,it draws power
from sunlight. On sunny paved roads, its maximum range hits 715 km,while its estimated off-road
driving distance falls to about 360 km.The top speed reaches 120 km/h.Battery reserves keep
both driving and medical systems operational even on cloudy days or at night.
A smart dual-zone power system offers vital safety support. If the vehicle is unable to move,
it automatically reserves electricity for life-saving medical instruments. Its climate-controlled
medical cabin carries practical diagnostic tools:portable X-ray machines for tuberculosis
screening, ultrasound scanners for prenatal care, malaria test kits,an automated external
defibrillator (AED),and cooling equipment to store vaccines under harsh hot-climate conditions.
Together with Amref Health Africa, the team is testing Stella Juva in Kenya's rugged Turkana
region, where residents are hours away from reliable medical power supplies.Notably,Stella Juva
remained a research prototype and would not be mass-produced.However,its engineering
blueprints will be released as open-source resources.
共8页,第4页
For nearly one billion people living far from modern medical infrastructure, timely treatment
remains difficult to access.Stella Juva proves renewable solar technology can narrow healthcare
gaps.It demonstrates how student-led innovation can deliver tangible hope for underserved
remote communities.
32.What is the main feature of Stella Juva?
A.It focuses on sending patients to hospitals rapidly
B.It acts as a mobile medical service station for remote areas
C.It has been mass-produced for African countries
D.It can work normally without any battery support
33.What can we learn about the solar-powered ambulance from paragraph 3?
A.Its body material increases its total weight greatly
B.It can run over 700 kilometers on rough roads
C.Weather conditions influence its driving range
D.Its top speed is limited due to solar equipment
34.What will the research team do with Stella Juva's blueprints?
A.Sell them to medical equipment companies
B.Keep them strictly confidential for further research
C.Make them publicly available resources
D.Apply for global patent protection immediately
35.What is the author's attitude towards Stella Juva?
A.Doubtful
B.Uncaring
C.Critical
D.Favorable

I used to wake up and check my phone. Before my feet hit the floor,I was already deep in the
day's chaos:headlines,comments,breaking news alerts..Doomscrolling(刷屏成瘾)had become
my morning routine.36 I started each day tense and anxious. So I gave myself a quiet
dare:no phone in the morning, for five straight weekdays.
Naturally, breaking the habit wasn't easy. The first morning,I reached for my phone
automatically.I stopped myself and picked up a book instead. It felt odd, like trying to enjoy
coffee without caffeine(咖啡因).But after a few pages,I found myself actually relaxed一not the
emptiness of a scroll, but something steadier.37 That had never happened before.
Encouraged by the quiet start,I explored other ways. The next day I tried a cold shower.I
wanted something that would force me fully awake. The shock factor was incredibly effective.
38 On Wednesday,I went for a run.I hated every step at first.But I came back awake,warm
and proud. That feeling powered me through the day.

not particularly exciting. On Friday,I reread an old letter and let the memories surface. It was

第三部分 写作(共一节,满分20分)
基础版:
Hello everyone! I'm Li Hua. I’m honored to share my feelings about our recent Campus Beautification Day.
During the activity, all students worked together to clean up litter, trim weeds and decorate our campus. Not only did the campus turn cleaner, but we also gained valuable lessons about labour and teamwork that book learning can never offer.
However, to make further progress, I have two tips. First, we need regular cleaning rather than short-term activities. Second, we should launch lectures that help students develop lifelong environmental awareness. I’m sure our campus will grow into a nicer place for us all. (98 words)
Thank you for listening!
进阶版范文一(偏重劳动体验与团队合作)
Hello, everyone! I'm Li Hua. I'd like to share my thoughts on our recent Campus Beautification Day.
This activity turned out to be far more meaningful than I had expected. By cleaning classrooms, sweeping fallen leaves and planting flowers, we not only made our campus more beautiful but also learned the value of teamwork and hard work. Seeing our efforts pay off gave us a real sense of achievement.
However, I have some suggestions for improvement. First, it would be better to divide tasks more clearly in advance so that everyone knows what to do. Second, more tools should be provided to improve efficiency. Finally, I suggest holding such activities regularly rather than just once a term, which will help us keep our campus beautiful all year round. (126 words)
Thank you for listening!
进阶版范文二(偏重环保意识与个人成长)
Hello, everyone! I'm Li Hua. Today I'd like to talk about our Campus Beautification Day.
What impressed me most was the teamwork among classmates. By working together to clean and decorate our campus, we became more aware of the importance of protecting the environment. Everyone contributed to the success of the activity, and I gained far more than I had expected.
As for improvement, I'd like to make two suggestions. On the one hand, we could invite more students to take the initiative rather than just follow orders. On the other hand, it would be advisable to set up a "Green Corner" to remind us to care for our campus every day. All in all, only in this way can we make our campus a better place. (125 words)

基础版

(126 words)

(125 words)

Nature preserves provide a close, crowd-free way to experience nature, with a shared core goal of protecting particular landscapes. They also reflect land conservation principles and a commitment to free public access to wild spaces. Below are four preserves easily accessible by car from Los Angeles.

People sometimes think they see wolves here. After all, it's right there in the name. A sign at the entrance explains that "wind wolves" refers to "the grasses moving in the wind that appear like running animals". Santa Margarita River Trail preserve, Fallbrook
Santa Margarita River Trail preserve in Fallbrook protects 1,400 acres along one of Southern California's last free-flowing rivers. Its shaded trails wind through oak woodlands, past seasonal wildflowers and quiet pools. This preserve provides a gentle getaway into a thriving ecosystem, all within a short drive from the city.

Hiking trails here are short and exposed, with a countryside feel and are marked with a fence to keep you from entering sensitive areas. The easy wildflower Trail takes you past a picnic bench overlooking a pond. It is flat and good for young children. Birders can spot golden eagles here.

US national parks aren't dogfriendly; while we knew this was the case for some parks, we had heard it varied from park to park. My husband, Mitchell, and I are always on the lookout for dogfriendly options at each national park. We have been to quite a few national parks now and in general, the rule is that dogs must always be on a leash (用狗绳拴住) and stay on paved (铺好的) path areas, no hiking trails (小径).
Yosemite was probably one of the more dogfriendly national parks we've been to as there was a longer paved bike trail in addition to a few shorter paved pathways that were dogfriendly. However, the hiking trails were still a nogo. For this reason, we haven't spent as much time in Yosemite National Park and instead have enjoyed the state parks and national forest that surrounds them.
Dogfriendliness aside, we have not for a second regretted visiting a national park and Yosemite was no exception. You must visit Yosemite if you ever get the chance. There were truly beautiful mountains and even though Mitchell and I grew up in the shadow of (在…附近) the Rockies we were completely impressed by this new landscape. We were fortunate to visit in the fall which had the added benefit of the beautiful colors and fewer people! The landscape easily looked like it could be a painting.
After Yosemite, we had originally planned to make our way to Death Valley. After some discussion, we decided to take a little detour and visit Lake Tahoe. The lake was beautiful and there seemed to be signs everywhere for ski hills and endless outdoor activities. We ended up staying for two days at the Zephyr Cove RV Park and Resort. We were able to wash clothes on site, shower and even use their WiFi to catch up on work. We had ended up traveling farther than we planned each day and it was nice to recharge and stay in one place a little longer. We've come to the conclusion we're still working on slowing down.

Isabella Ducrot, an Italian artist born in 1931, is becoming internationally famous for her art only recently, even though she didn't start creating it until she was in her fifties.
Ducrot creates her art by standing and sweeping loose stroke of ink or paint onto paper or fabric (布料), sometimes using a brush attached to a stick. She often adds pieces of other papers or fabrics to create pictures. Her works, typically made in series, feature joyful figures, simple landscapes, and repeating patterns like ovals (椭圆) and squares. Full of life, color, and a sense of freedom, her art feels so fresh and energetic that a museum in France has called her, in a surprising way, "a young artist with a young career."
Ducrot's art is deeply rooted in her life experiences. For years, she and her late husband ran a luxury travel business, journeying from India to Afghanistan and gathering a unique collection of rare textiles (纺织品). These experiences and materials now provide both the physical and conceptual foundation for her work. She brings importance to humble clothes--the kind "used to protect, wrap, wash and care for the body"--by incorporating (纳入) them into her art, making us reconsider the boundaries between fine art and the art of everyday life.
Her late success strongly goes against common ideas about older people, especially older women. As one expert points out, we often give older women "the unclear, and often fading, quality of wisdom," meaning their creative and personal growth has stopped. Ducrot's clearly emotional work shows this is not true. "I think life, for women, begins at sixty," she says. "Because then we begin to be free."
In her Roman palazzo, Isabella Ducrot continues her daily work, watching as the figures in her "Tenderness" series slowly emerge from the cloth. Just like her art, her own life is a masterpiece that is still unfolding. With each brushstroke she paints and piece of fabric she adds, she shows us a simple truth: even in life's later years, creativity can not only survive but blossom with unexpected freedom and power.
28.What can we know about Ducrot's art?
A.It is created using digital tools and software.
B.It features repetitive patterns and mixed materials.
C.It creates a sense of calm and peacefulness.
D.It shows complex historical scenes.
A.Traditional and reserved B.Creative and free
C.determined and imaginative D.Energetic and generous
31.What message does Ducrot's story convey?
A.Where there's a will, there is a way.
B.Actions speak louder than words.
C.It's never too late to start a new chapter in life.
D.A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
D
Stella Juva, dubbed the world's first solar-powered ambulance, is more than a traditional emergency vehicle. Some observers even note it functions chiefly as a mobile health clinic rather than a typical ambulance for patient transport.
Developed by 23 engineering students of Solar Team Eindhoven from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, this prototype is designed for off-grid remote regions, where millions lack fuel, stable electricity and accessible medical services. Instead of rushing patients to hospitals, it brings medical services straight to these underserved communities.
Built with aerospace-grade carbon-fiber-composite materials, the vehicle weighs only 1,350 kg, less than half the weight of a standard ambulance. Its teardrop-shaped body reduces wind resistance. Equipped with high-efficiency solar cells and a 50-kWh battery pack, it draws power from sunlight. On sunny paved roads, its maximum range hits 715 km, while its estimated off-road driving distance falls to about 360 km. The top speed reaches 120 km/h. Battery reserves keep both driving and medical systems operational even on cloudy days or at night.
A smart dual-zone power system offers vital safety support. If the vehicle is unable to move, it automatically reserves electricity for life-saving medical instruments. Its climate-controlled medical cabin carries practical diagnostic tools: portable X-ray machines for tuberculosis screening, ultrasound scanners for prenatal care, malaria test kits, an automated external defibrillator (AED), and cooling equipment to store vaccines under harsh hot-climate conditions.
Together with Amref Health Africa, the team is testing Stella Juva in Kenya's rugged Turkana region, where residents are hours away from reliable medical power supplies. Notably, Stella Juva remained a research prototype and would not be mass-produced. However, its engineering blueprints will be released as open-source resources.
For nearly one billion people living far from modern medical infrastructure, timely treatment remains difficult to access. Stella Juva proves renewable solar technology can narrow healthcare gaps. It demonstrates how student-led innovation can deliver tangible hope for underserved remote communities.
32.What is the main feature of Stella Juva?
A. It focuses on sending patients to hospitals rapidly
B. It acts as a mobile medical service station for remote areas
C. It has been mass-produced for African countries
D. It can work normally without any battery support
33.What can we learn about the solar-powered ambulance from paragraph 3?
A. Its body material increases its total weight greatly
B. It can run over 700 kilometers on rough roads
C. Weather conditions influence its driving range
D. Its top speed is limited due to solar equipment
34.What will the research team do with Stella Juva's blueprints?
A. Sell them to medical equipment companies
B. Keep them strictly confidential for further research
C. Make them publicly available resources
D. Apply for global patent protection immediately
35.What is the author's attitude towards Stella Juva?
A. Doubtful B. Uncaring C. Critical D. Favorable

I used to wake up and check my phone. Before my feet hit the floor, I was already deep in the day's chaos: headlines, comments, breaking news alerts. Doomscrolling(刷屏成瘾) had become my morning routine. 36 I started each day tense and anxious. So I gave myself a quiet dare: no phone in the morning, for five straight weekdays.
Naturally, breaking the habit wasn't easy. The first morning, I reached for my phone automatically. I stopped myself and picked up a book instead. It felt odd, like trying to enjoy coffee without caffeine(咖啡因). But after a few pages, I found myself actually relaxed — not the emptiness of a scroll, but something steadier. 37 That had never happened before.
Encouraged by the quiet start, I explored other ways. The next day I tried a cold shower. I wanted something that would force me fully awake. The shock factor was incredibly effective. 38 On Wednesday, I went for a run. I hated every step at first. But I came back awake, warm and proud. That feeling powered me through the day.
39 On Thursday, I journaled. No audience, just thoughts on paper. It felt honest, if not particularly exciting. On Friday, I reread an old letter and let the memories surface. It was quiet, uneventful and grounding.
By the end of the week, the urge to check my phone had weakened. 40 Those phone-free mornings proved a quieter start was possible: no noise or half-truths. It's not about perfection, but freedom from the scroll and the misinformation it feeds into our minds.
A. But lately, I noticed the weight it carried.
B. This left my mind surprisingly clear afterward.
C. I even finished a chapter before checking the time.
D. That meant I stopped grabbing my phone on waking.
E. It made me realize how popular phones are nowadays.
F. Some mornings I spent more time reflecting than moving.
G. It revealed the link between my phone use and daily anxiety.
